Encouragement to donate

1 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the grace of God which is given to the churches of Macedonia;
2 Corinthians 8: 1

2 Those believers were tested by great difficulties. And they were very poor. But they gave a lot out of their joy.
2 Corinthians 8: 2

3 I can tell you that they did many things they were able to do. Those believers did more than their finances. They did this generously. No one told them to do that.
2 Corinthians 8: 3

4 And they besought us, saying, This day is the King of our people.
2 Corinthians 8: 4

5 And they gave as we had hoped. Even before they gave their money, they dedicated themselves to the Lord and to us. That is what God wants.
2 Corinthians 8: 5

6 So we asked Titus to help you with this special work of grace. Titus is the man who started the cause.
2 Corinthians 8: 6

7 You are rich in everything, in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in eagerness to help, and in the love you have learned from us. And so we want you to be rich in this gift too.
2 Corinthians 8: 7

8 I do not command you to give. But I want to see if your love is real. I do this to show you that other people really want to help.
2 Corinthians 8: 8

9 You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. You know that Christ was rich, but for you he became poor. Christ did this so that you can become rich and poor.
2 Corinthians 8: 9

10 I think you should do this. And because I believe it is good for you, I tell you; Last year, you were the first to come forward to give. And you were the first to give.

11 So now finish the work you started. Then your “deed” will be equal to your “desire to do”. Give out of what you have.

12 If you want to give, your gift will be accepted. Your donation will be accepted on the basis of what you have and not on what you have tomorrow.

13 We do not want to see you in trouble when others are free from their troubles. We want equality in everything.

14 You have a lot right now. The things you have can help you meet the needs of other people. Then when they have more, they can help meet your needs. Then all will be equal.

15 As the Scriptures say, “He who adds much has nothing, and he who adds little has nothing.”

Pray for forgiveness of sins

1 Have mercy on me, O God, in your loving kindness. Forgive all my sins because of your great mercy.
Psalm 51: 1

2 O God, wash away my guilt. Wash away my sins, cleanse me once more.

3 I know that I have sinned, and I always see those sins.

4 I have done what you say is wrong. You are the God against whom I have sinned. I accept these things to let people know that I was wrong and you were right. Your judgments are fair.

5 I was born in sin, and in the midst of it my mother conceived me.

6 God, you want me to be truly faithful to you, so put your true wisdom in my heart.

7 Use the holy plant and make the sin a cleansing ritual for me. Wash me until I am white as snow.

8 Give me joy. Tell me to be happy again. Let the bones you crushed be happy.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Strengthen my soul once again.

11 Don’t push me away. And do not draw your Holy Spirit from me.

12 How happy I am with your help! Give me that joy again. Make my soul strong and ready to obey your Hukam.

13 I will teach sinners the way you want them to live and they will come back to you.

14 Deliver me, O God, from the snares of death. Let me sing about your loyalty.

15 My lord, I will open my mouth and sing praises to you.

16 You really don’t need sacrifices, so why should I offer sacrifices that you don’t even need?

17 The sacrifice God wants is a spirit that is not filled with pride. O God, you do not turn away the man who comes to you in a humble and humble way.

18 God, please be kind to Zion. Rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Jesus’ Resurrection

1 And it came to pass on the sabbath day, that Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought some ointment, and they came and anointed it.

2 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, after sunrise, they came to the tomb.
Mark 16: 2

3 And they said one to another, Behold, a stone was rolled away from the door of the tomb; Who will roll it aside for us? ”

4 But when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away from the entrance of the tomb.
Mark 16: 4

5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in white sitting on the right side of the tomb. She was shocked to see this.

6 But the man said, “Don’t be afraid. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is resurrected. He is not here. Look! This is the place where he was laid to rest.

7 Now go and tell his disciples, especially Peter, ‘Jesus has come to Galilee before you. You will see him there as he told you. ‘”
Mark 16: 7

8 The women were filled with fear and trembling, and ran away from the tomb. They did not tell anyone because they were afraid.
