Advice to young People

1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but follow my commandments with all your heart.

2 Because by doing this you will live longer and live longer, and you will live in peace.

3 Let not mercy and truth be separated from thee, but thou shalt make them thy necklace, and write them upon the tablet of thy heart,

4 Then thou shalt find favor and goodwill in the sight of God and of men.

5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.

6 Remember him in all your ways, and he will direct your paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

8 This will make your body healthy and your bones strong.

9 Bless the LORD with all your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your fruit.

10 Then your fields will be full of produce, and your vineyards will overflow with new juice.

11 My son, do not despise the Lord’s rebuke, and do not despise him when he rebukes you.

12 For the LORD chasteneth him that loveth him, even as the Father the son in whom he delighteth.

13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

14 For the gain thereof is better than the gain thereof, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

15 They are more precious than diamonds, and none of the things you desire are like them.

16 Longevity is in his right hand, and in his left hand is wealth and honor.

17 His ways are pleasing, and all his ways are peace.

18 He that receiveth it is a tree of life: and he that holdeth it shall rejoice.

19 By wisdom the LORD founded the earth, and by understanding he established the heavens.

20 With his knowledge the depths are broken, and the dew falls from the clouds.

21 O my son, preserve wisdom and discretion, and let them not be hid from thine eyes.

22 Then they will give you life and adorn your neck.

23 Then you will walk in your way without fear, and your foot will not stumble.

24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.

25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of calamity befalling the wicked.

26 For the LORD shall be thy hope, and he shall keep thy foot out of the snare.

27 If it is possible for you, do not stop doing good to those who are entitled to it.

28 If you have, don’t tell your neighbor to go and come again, and I’ll give it to you tomorrow.

29 When thy neighbor dwelleth securely with thee, thou shalt not do evil to him.

30 Do not argue with anyone who has not done you any harm.

31 Do not imitate a tyrant, nor follow any of his words.

32 For the abomination of the LORD is an abomination to the LORD: but the righteousness of the LORD is his delight.

33 The curse of the LORD is upon the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.

34 He scoffs at those who truly mock, but he shows favor to the humble.

35 The wise will inherit honor, but the foolish will prosper.

1 “Some of you are trying hard to live a good life. You go to the Lord for help. Listen to me. You must look to your father Abraham. He is the rock from which you were carved.
Isaiah 51: 1

2 Abraham is your father, and you should look to him. You should look at Sarah – the woman who gave birth to you. Abraham was alone when I called him. Then I blessed him, and he started a big family. Many people were born to him. “

3 Thus the LORD will bless Zion. The Lord will feel sorry for him and his people, and he will do great things for him. The Lord will change the desert. The desert will become like a garden, like the garden of Eden. That land was barren, but it will become like the garden of the Lord. People there will be happy, very happy. The people there will be happy. They will sing songs of thanksgiving and victory.

4 “My people, listen to me! My judgments will be like lights that show how to live.

5 I will soon show that I am fair. I will save you soon. I will use my power and judge all the nations. All the people from far away are waiting for me. They are waiting for my help.

6 Look up at the sky! Look down at the earth around you! The sky will disappear like clouds of smoke. The earth will become like old clothes. People will die on earth, but my salvation will last forever. My virtue will never end.

7 You people who understand righteousness should listen to me. You people who follow my teachings should listen to what I tell you. Do not be afraid of bad people. Don’t be afraid of the bad things they say to you.

9 Awake, O Jehovah! Wake up! Be strong! Use your power, as you did long ago, as you have done since ancient times. You are the power that defeated Rahab. You defeated the dragon.

10 You dried up the sea! You dried up the deep water! You turned the deep parts of the ocean into a path. Your people crossed that road and survived.

11 Jehovah will save his people. They will gladly return to Zion. They will be very happy, their happiness will be like a crown on their head forever. They will be singing with joy. All the sadness must have gone away.

12 For thus saith the LORD, I am the man that comforteth thee: why shouldest thou be afraid of men, because they live and die, and are but men, and die as grass? . “

13 The Lord made you. He created the earth with his power! And he spread the heavens on the earth with his power! But you forget him and his power. So you are always afraid of the angry people who hurt you. They planned to destroy you. But where is he now? They are all gone.

14 The prisoners will soon be released. They will die in captivity and will not rot. They will have plenty of food.

The End of the Sorrows of Jerusalem

17 Awake! Wake up! Jerusalem, get up! The Lord was very angry with you. That is why you were punished. This punishment was like a cup of poison that you had to drink, and you drank it.

18 There are many people in Jerusalem, but none of them became his leader. None of the children she gave birth to became publishers.

20 Your people have become weak. They fell to the ground and lay there. They were at every street corner. They were like animals caught in a trap. They received the punishment of Jehovah’s wrath until they could no longer bear it. When God said that he would punish them more, they became very weak.

21 Poor Jerusalem, listen to me. You are as weak as a drunkard, but you are not drunk. You are weak because of that cup of poison.

Joy in heaven

1 After this, I heard a loud voice from heaven that sounded like many people.  They were saying, “Hallelujah!  Conquest, glory and power belong to our God.

2 The judgments are true and right. Our God punished the great prostitute who polluted the earth with her sexual sins. God punished the prostitute and avenged the death of her servants. ”

6 Then I heard something that made a lot of noise.  It was like floodwaters and a powerful thunderbolt.  People were saying, “Hallelujah! Our Lord God rules. He is the Almighty.

7 Let us rejoice and be glad, and glorify God, that we may praise him, as the Lamb hath married. And the Lamb’s wife hath adorned herself.

8 Fine linen garments were given to the bride to wear. The fine linen cloth was clean and shiny. The fine linen cloth meant to do good to God’s holy people.

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this down!  Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb. ”  Then the angel said, “These are the true words of God.”

10 Then I went down to worship at the feet of the angel.  But the angel said to me, “Don’t worship me.  I am a servant to you and to your brothers who have the truth about Jesus.  So worship God.  For the truth of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. ”
