The sorrows of the disciples will be turned into happiness

16 “After a while you will not see me. After a while, you will see me again. ”
John 16:16

17 And some of them said unto one another, What meaneth this Jesus that he saith, For a little while ye shall not see me, and after a little while ye shall see me again? And what is this? When he says, ‘Because I’m going to my father?’ “
John 16:17

18 Then they asked, “What does that mean? We do not understand what he (Jesus) says. ”
John 16:18

19 When Jesus saw that his disciples were about to ask him a question, he said to them, “Are you asking me about what I said, ‘After a while you will not see me, and after a while you will see me?’ See you again? ‘
John 16:19

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice. You will be sad but your sadness will turn into happiness.
John 16:20

21 “When a woman gives birth to a child, she feels pain because it is time for her to give birth. But after giving birth to a child, she forgets all the pain because of the joy that a new child has been born in this world.
John 16:21

22 So it is with you. Now you are sad. But when I see you again, you will be happy, and no one can take that joy away from you.
John 16:22

23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give you.
John 16:23

24 So far you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be full.
John 16:24

Definite life to the Lord

17 Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel. Christ did not send me to preach the gospel using words of worldly wisdom. If I had used wise words to spread the gospel, then the cross of Christ would have lost its meaning.
1 Corinthians 1:17

18 The message of the cross seems foolish to those who are lost, but to those who are saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will make the wisdom of the wise vain.
1 Corinthians 1:19

20 Where are the wise men? Where are the scholars? Where are the philosophies of this world? God has made the wisdom of this world foolish.
1 Corinthians 1:20

21 This is what God wanted with his wisdom; The world did not know God by its wisdom. That is why God used a message that seems foolish to save those who believe in it.
1 Corinthians 1:21

22 The Jews demand miracles as proof. The Greeks demanded wisdom.
1 Corinthians 1:22

23 But this is the message that we preach; Christ died on the cross. This is a big problem for the Jews. And to the non-Jews this seems foolish.
1 Corinthians 1:23

24 But unto the elect, both Jews and Greeks, and Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God;
1 Corinthians 1:24

Definite life to the Lord

7 I want everyone to be like me. But everyone has his own gift from God. One person has received one gift, another another.
1 Corinthians 7: 7

8 This is what I want to say to those who are single and to widows; It is better for them to be alone than I am.
1 Corinthians 7: 8

9 But if they can’t control their desires, let them get married. Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
1 Corinthians 7: 9

10 Now I command those who are married. This command is not from me, it is from the Lord. A wife should not leave her husband.
1 Corinthians 7:10

11 But if a woman leaves her husband, she must not remarry. Or she should go back to her husband. Also, a husband should not divorce his wife.
1 Corinthians 7:11

12 For all that I say, I speak, and not the Lord. A Christian can have a wife who is not a believer. And if she wants to live with him, the man should not divorce her.
1 Corinthians 7:12

13 And a woman may marry a man who is not a believer. And if he wants to live with her, then the woman should not divorce him.
1 Corinthians 7:13

14 A husband who is not a believer is sanctified by his wife. And a wife who is not a believer is made holy by her husband. If this were not true, then your children would be unclean. But now your children are clean.
1 Corinthians 7:14

15 But if a man or woman who is not a believer decides to separate, let the man or woman go. If this happens, then one brother or sister in Christ is free. God called us to live in peace.
1 Corinthians 7:15

16 Wives, perhaps you will save your husbands, and husbands, perhaps you will save your wives. Even if you don’t know what will happen next.
1 Corinthians 7:16

17 But every man must live according to the conditions which God has ordained for him. This means that he must live in the condition in which God called him. This is the principle I have made in all the churches.
1 Corinthians 7:17

18 If a man was not circumcised when God called him, he must not be circumcised. If a person is not circumcised at the time of calling, he should not be circumcised.
1 Corinthians 7:18

19 It doesn’t matter if a person is circumcised or not. The important thing is to obey God’s commands.
1 Corinthians 7:19

20 Let every man abide in the calling of God.
1 Corinthians 7:20

21 If you were a slave when the Lord called you, don’t worry about it, but if you can be free, be free.
1 Corinthians 7:21

22 The man who was a slave when the Lord called him is now free in the Lord. In the same way, the man who was free when God called him is now a slave of Christ.
1 Corinthians 7:22

23 You people were bought at a high price. So do not become slaves of men.
1 Corinthians 7:23

24 Brothers and sisters, live your new life with God in the way you were living when God called you.
1 Corinthians 7:24
