The sorrows of the disciples will be turned into happiness

16 “After a while you will not see me. After a while, you will see me again. ”
John 16:16

17 And some of them said unto one another, What meaneth this Jesus that he saith, For a little while ye shall not see me, and after a little while ye shall see me again? And what is this? When he says, ‘Because I’m going to my father?’ “
John 16:17

18 Then they asked, “What does that mean? We do not understand what he (Jesus) says. ”
John 16:18

19 When Jesus saw that his disciples were about to ask him a question, he said to them, “Are you asking me about what I said, ‘After a while you will not see me, and after a while you will see me?’ See you again? ‘
John 16:19

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice. You will be sad but your sadness will turn into happiness.
John 16:20

21 “When a woman gives birth to a child, she feels pain because it is time for her to give birth. But after giving birth to a child, she forgets all the pain because of the joy that a new child has been born in this world.
John 16:21

22 So it is with you. Now you are sad. But when I see you again, you will be happy, and no one can take that joy away from you.
John 16:22

23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give you.
John 16:23

24 So far you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be full.
John 16:24

Definite life to the Lord

17 Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel. Christ did not send me to preach the gospel using words of worldly wisdom. If I had used wise words to spread the gospel, then the cross of Christ would have lost its meaning.
1 Corinthians 1:17

18 The message of the cross seems foolish to those who are lost, but to those who are saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will make the wisdom of the wise vain.
1 Corinthians 1:19

20 Where are the wise men? Where are the scholars? Where are the philosophies of this world? God has made the wisdom of this world foolish.
1 Corinthians 1:20

21 This is what God wanted with his wisdom; The world did not know God by its wisdom. That is why God used a message that seems foolish to save those who believe in it.
1 Corinthians 1:21

22 The Jews demand miracles as proof. The Greeks demanded wisdom.
1 Corinthians 1:22

23 But this is the message that we preach; Christ died on the cross. This is a big problem for the Jews. And to the non-Jews this seems foolish.
1 Corinthians 1:23

24 But unto the elect, both Jews and Greeks, and Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God;
1 Corinthians 1:24

The word became incarnate

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was with God in the beginning.

3 Everything was created through him; Nothing was created without him.

4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness does not accept it.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7 John came to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8 John himself was not that light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light.

9 The real light was coming into the world. It was the real light that illuminated all human beings.

10 The Word was already in the world, through him the world was made, but the world did not recognize him.

11 He came to his people, but his own people did not receive him.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 They were born of God, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of men.

14 The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 John testified about him and said, “This is what I was talking about. I told you that the one who will come after me is greater than I am. He was before me. ”

16 The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared us God.
