1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want you to know about the spiritual gifts.
1 Corinthians 12: 1
2 You know the life before you became a believer. You yourself were blindly drawn to the worship of lifeless idols.
1 Corinthians 12: 2
3 Therefore I tell you, everyone who speaks with the help of the Spirit of God It does not say, “Cursed be Jesus Christ.” And no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ without the help of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12: 3
4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they are all from the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12: 4
5 There are many ways to serve; But all these ways are from the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12: 5
6 And there are also many ways in which God works with people. But all these ways are from the same Lord. God does all the work in us.
1 Corinthians 12: 6
7 The work of the Spirit can be seen in every human being. The Spirit gives us this gift to help other people.
1 Corinthians 12: 7
8 The Spirit gives this gift to a person to speak the language of wisdom. And that same soul gives the gift of speaking with wisdom.
1 Corinthians 12: 8
9 The same Spirit gives faith to a person. And that same Spirit gives a person the gift of healing.
1 Corinthians 12: 9
10 Gives another person the gift of performing miracles, and gives another person the ability to prophesy, and another person the ability to distinguish between good and evil spirits. The Spirit gives a person the power to speak different kinds of languages, and gives another person the power to interpret those languages.
1 Corinthians 12:10
11 The same Spirit does all these things. The soul decides what to give to each person.
1 Corinthians 12:11
Salvation through the Lord Jesus

1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which were taught us. We must be careful so that we do not stray from the path of truth.
Hebrews 2: 1
2 The teachings (the law) which were given through the angels of God were proved true. And whenever people went against that teaching and disobeyed that teaching, they received appropriate punishment.
Hebrews 2: 2
3 The salvation we have received is great. So if we live our lives thinking that this salvation is of no importance, then we are bound to be punished. It was the Lord who first told the people about this salvation. And those who heard him testified that this salvation is real.
Hebrews 2: 3
4 God also gave proof of this by means of miracles, great signs, and many wonders. And he gave proof of this to the people through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He gave these gifts according to his will.
Hebrews 2: 4
Prayer Request

1 Lastly, brethren, pray for us also. Pray that the Lord’s teachings will continue to spread quickly. Pray that people will respect that teaching as it happened to you.
2 Thessalonians 3: 1
2 And pray that we may be safe from evil and wicked people. As you know, not all people believe in the Lord.
2 Thessalonians 3: 2
3 But the Lord is faithful. He will give you strength and save you from the evil one.
2 Thessalonians 3: 3
4 The Lord assures us that you are doing what we told you to do. And we know that you will continue to do these things.
2 Thessalonians 3: 4
5 We pray that the Lord will guide your hearts toward the love of God and the patience of Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3: 5
