Instructions for leaders

          Instructions for leaders

17 Elders who lead the congregation well are deserving of great honor.  Those who work through great speech and teaching are people who are yogis of great honor.  1 Timothy 5:17

18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And the scripture saith, The laborer is worthy of his hire.  1 Timothy 5:18

19 Do not listen to anyone who accuses an elder.  You should only listen to that person if two or three people testify that the elder has done something wrong.  1 Timothy 5:19

20 Tell sinners that they are doing wrong.  Say this in front of the whole congregation.  In this way, others will be warned.  1 Timothy 5:20

21 I command you to do these things before God, Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels.  But don’t judge people before you know the truth.  And treat everyone the same about these things.  1 Timothy 5:21

22 Think carefully before making a person an elder.  Do not share in the sins of others.  Keep yourself clean.  1 Timothy 5:22

23 Timothy, you have been drinking only water.  Leave it at that.  It will be good for your stomach and your frequent illnesses.  1 Timothy 5:23

24 The sins of some people are easy to see.  Their sins show that they are guilty before their true judgment.  But some people’s sins are visible later.  1 Timothy 5:24

25 So it is with the good works of men.  People’s good deeds are quickly seen.  Although those good deeds are not easy to see, they cannot remain hidden.  1 Timothy 5:25

A living hope, Calling the holy Creatures to live.

      First Epistle of Peter

Hello

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the Gentiles which are scattered abroad throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia;

2 For those who are already chosen to be sanctified by the Spirit through the knowledge of God the Father are to be obedient and have the blood of Jesus Christ sprinkled on them.  May grace and peace be with you.

  A living hope

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his great mercy, gave us a new birth in the hope of life by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

4 For the indestructible, pure, and unquenchable power that is reserved for you in heaven.

5 By faith you are saved through the power of God to the salvation which is to come at the last day.

6 In it you rejoice greatly, though for some time now you have been troubled by various temptations.

7 That your faith may be more precious than gold perished in the fire, and that your faith may be glorified and glorified at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

8 The one you love without seeing, and even though you don’t see him now, you rejoice greatly because of the faith that is beyond description and full of glory.

9 And you receive the fruit of your faith, the salvation of your life.

10 This is the salvation which the prophets sought, and the prophets that prophesied of the grace that should come upon you.

11 And they sought to know the spirit of Christ which was in them, which testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ, and of the glory which should come after them;

12 So it was revealed to them that they were not speaking for themselves, but for your service, which you now received from those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit who was sent down from heaven.  Want to do

         Calling the holy Creatures to

Live

13 Watch therefore with all your heart, and be wholeheartedly hopeful of the grace that will come to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

14 And do not be like the obedient children in the first instance of your ignorance.

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 For it is written,  “You must be holy, because I am holy.”

17 If you, as a father, cry out to the one who judges without judgment according to the works of everyone, spend your time in fear.

18 For you know that what you have gotten out of your worthless ways, which was from your fathers, is not with perishable things, with silver and gold.

19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish.

20 He was established before the foundation of the world, but he appeared to you at the end of time.

21 Those who believe in God through him who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, that you may have faith and hope in God.

22 You who have given your lives for the unconditional love of the brotherhood in subjection to the truth, love one another with all your heart and with all your soul.

23 For ye are born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

24 For every creature is like grass, and his glory is like the flower of grass.  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of the Lord endureth for ever.

25 And this is the word which was preached to you.
