Another Marriage of Esau, Jacob’s dream.

1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel your grandmother, and from there marry one of the daughters of Laban your uncle.

3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and make you grow and you will be a nation of many nations.

4 And he shall bless thee, and thy seed with Abraham, that thou mayest inherit the land which thou gavest to Abraham.

5 And Isaac sent Jacob away, and went to Laban the son of Bethuel the Syrian, and the brother of Rebekah the mother of Jacob and Esau.

Another marriage of Esau

6 And when Esau saw that Isaac blessed Jacob, and sent him to Padanaram, that he might take him a wife from thence, and blessed him, and charged him, and said, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.  ,

7 And Jacob, hearing the voice of his father and mother, went to Padanaram.

8 Then Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan were evil in the eyes of my father Isaac

9 Then Esau went to Ishmael, and took Mahalath, the daughter of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, and the sister of Nebayot, and took them with him, and mixed them with his other wives.

Jacob’s dream

10 Jacob traveled from Beersheba to Haran,

11 And they came to a place, and spent the night there, because the sun had set, and took a stone from that place, and laid it there, and lay down there.

12 And he dreamed a dream, and behold, a ladder was laid upon the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven, and behold angels of God ascending and descending upon it.

13 Behold, the Lord stood over him, and he said, I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham, and the God of Isaac.  The land on which you lie, I will give it to you and your descendants.

14 Thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth: and thou shalt go forth eastward and westward, and northward and southward; and from thee and from thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

15 Behold, I am with thee, whithersoever thou goest, I will keep thee, and bring thee again into this land; and I will not leave thee until I have fulfilled my word unto thee.

16 And Jacob awoke from his sleep, and said, Surely the LORD is in this place; but I knew it not.

17 And he was afraid, and said, How terrible is this place!  It cannot be a place other than the house of God, but it is the gate of heaven.

18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone which he had set for his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil thereon.

19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was Luz at first.

20 And Jacob sware unto them, saying, If the LORD God be with me, and keep me safe in the way wherein I walk, and give me bread to eat, and raiment to clothe me,

21 And I will return in peace to my father’s house, and the LORD will be my God.

22 And this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be the house of God; and of all that thou shalt give me, I will give thee tithes of it.

Jesus Christ is The same yesterday, today, and forever.

1 You are brothers and sisters in Christ, so continue to love one another. Hebrews 13: 1

2 Always remember to invite strangers to your home and help them.  Because of this, some people have become angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13: 2

3 Do not forget those people in captivity.  Remember them as if you were in captivity with them.  And don’t forget the people who are suffering.  You must not forget that you will have to go through the same ordeal. Hebrews 13: 3

4 Marriage should be respected by all.  And every marriage should be consecrated to just two people.  God will judge sinners who commit sexual immorality and adultery. Hebrews 13: 4

5 Keep your life free from the love of money.  And be content with what you have.  God has said, “I will never leave you. I will never leave you.”.  Hebrews 13: 5

6 So we can be sure that God is my helper and I will not be afraid. People can do me no harm. ” Hebrews 13: 6

7 Remember your leaders.  They preached God’s message to you.  Remember how they live and die, and imitate their faith. Hebrews 13: 7

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13: 8

9 Do not go along with all kinds of strange teachings.  Your heart should be strengthened by the grace of God and not by the principles of food.  To date, no one has benefited from following those principles. Hebrews 13: 9

10 We have a sacrifice.  And the priests who serve in the Holy Tent have no authority to eat from the sacrifice. Hebrews 13:10

11 The high priest takes the blood of the animals to the Most Holy Place.  He gives that blood for sins.  But the bodies of those animals are burned outside the camp. Hebrews 13:11

12 That is why Jesus died outside the city.  Jesus died to sanctify His people by His own blood. Hebrews 13:12

13 Let us therefore go forth to Jesus outside the camp.  We must accept the same shame that Christ did. Hebrews 13:13

14 We have no city on earth that will last forever.  But we are waiting for the city we will meet in the future. Hebrews 13:14

15 So we must not stop offering sacrifices to God through Christ Jesus.  Those sacrifices are the same praise that comes from the lips of those who glorify His name. Hebrews 13:15

16 And do not forget to be kind to others.  These are the sacrifices that please God. Hebrews 13:16

17 Obey your leaders and submit to them.  Those people are responsible for you.  That is why they are always watching over you.  Obey those people so that they can do such things happily, not sadly.  Making their work difficult will not benefit you. Hebrews 13:17

18 Keep praying for us.  We understand what we do, because we always try to do the best we can. Hebrews 13:18

19 And I beseech you the rather to do this, that God may send me to you soon.  This is what I want more than anything else. Hebrews 13:19

Christ’s Sacrifice Removes Sin

23 These things are imitations of the real heavenly things.  These things had to be cleansed with animal sacrifices.  But the real things in heaven require much better sacrifices. Hebrews 9:23

24 Christ went into the Most Holy Place.  But Christ did not go into the Most Holy Place, which was made by men.  That Most Holy Place is an imitation of the True Most Holy Place.  Christ went to heaven.  Christ is there to help us with God. Hebrews 9:24

25 The high priest enters the Most Holy Place once a year and takes blood with him to offer.  But he does not offer his blood as Christ did.  Christ went to heaven, but not like the high priest who offers blood again and again. Hebrews 9:25

26 If Christ had to offer himself again and again, he would have suffered many times since the creation of this world.  But Christ offered himself only once.  And that ‘one time’ is enough for all times.  Christ came when the world was nearing its end.  Christ came to take away all sin by sacrificing himself. Hebrews 9:26

27 Everyone has to die once.  When a person dies, he is tested. Hebrews 9:27

28 So Christ offered himself once as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people.  Christ will appear a second time, but not for sin’s sake.  Christ will come a second time to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28
