About covering the head

1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
1 Corinthians 11: 1

2 I commend you, for you remember me in all things. You must faithfully follow the teachings I gave you.
1 Corinthians 11: 2

3 But I want you to understand this; Christ is the head of every human being. The head of a woman is a man. And the head of Christ is God.
1 Corinthians 11: 3

4 Whosoever prayeth or prophesieth with his head uncovered dishonoureth his head.
1 Corinthians 11: 4

5 But every woman should cover her head when she is praying or prophesying. If her head is not covered, then she brings shame on her head. Then there is no difference between her and the woman with the beard.
1 Corinthians 11: 5

6 If a woman does not cover her head, it is like cutting her hair. But it is a shame for a woman to cut her hair or shave her head. So he should cover his head.
1 Corinthians 11: 6

7 But a man must not cover his head. Why? Because he was created as God, and he is the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 11: 7

8 But woman is the glory of man. For the man did not come from the woman, but from the woman.
1 Corinthians 11: 8

9 Also, man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man.
1 Corinthians 11: 9

10 So a woman should cover her head to show that she is under authority. And he must do this for the angels.
1 Corinthians 11:10

11 But in the Lord, the woman is important to the man, and the man is important to the woman.
1 Corinthians 11:11

12 This is true because the woman is from the man, and the man is also from the woman. In fact, everything comes from God.
1 Corinthians 11:12

13 Decide for yourself; Is it lawful for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
1 Corinthians 11:13

14 Nature also teaches you that having long hair is a disgrace to man.
1 Corinthians 11:14

15 But having long hair is an honor for a woman. The woman is given long hair so that she can cover her head.
1 Corinthians 11:15

16 Some people may still want to argue about it. But we and the churches of God do not accept what these people are doing.
1 Corinthians 11:16

Concluding remarks

13 I write these things to you who believe in the Son of God. I am writing this so that you may know that immortal life is yours.
1 John 5:13

14 So we can come to God believing that when we ask him for anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5:14

15 Therefore we know that he hears us whenever we ask him for anything. Then we know that he gives us what we ask of him.
1 John 5:15

16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, then he ought to pray for his brother. God will give him life. I am talking about people who sin, but the punishment for their sins is not death. There are sins that end in death as punishment. I am not asking you to pray about this sin.
1 John 5:16

17 Doing wrong is always a sin. But there are also sins that do not lead to eternal death.
1 John 5:17

18 For we know that if any man be born of God, he sinneth not; The Son of God protects him, and the evil one (Satan) cannot harm him.
1 John 5:18

19 We know that we are God’s people, but the evil one (Satan) controls the whole world.
1 John 5:19

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us wisdom, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true. And in fact our lives are in that one truth. That is the true God, and that is eternal life.
1 John 5:20

21 Therefore, my children, keep yourselves from false gods.
1 John 5:21

Christ’s Sacrifice Removes sin

23 These things are imitations of the real heavenly things. These things had to be cleansed with animal sacrifices. But the real things in heaven require much better sacrifices.
Hebrews 9:23

24 Christ went into the Most Holy Place. But Christ did not go to the Most Holy Place, which was made by men. That Most Holy Place is an imitation of the True Most Holy Place. Christ went to heaven. Christ is there to help us with God.
Hebrews 9:24

25 The high priest enters the Most Holy Place once a year and takes blood with him to offer. But he does not offer his blood as Christ did. Christ went to heaven, but not like the high priest who offers blood again and again.
Hebrews 9:25

26 If Christ had to offer himself again and again, he would have suffered many times since the creation of this world. But Christ offered himself only once. And that ‘one time’ is enough for all times. Christ came when the world was nearing its end. Christ came to take away all sin by sacrificing himself.
Hebrews 9:26

27 Everyone has to die once. When a person dies, he is tested.
Hebrews 9:27

28 So Christ offered himself once as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. Christ will appear a second time, but not for sin’s sake. Christ will come a second time to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
Hebrews 9:28
