Food offered to idols
1 Now I will write about the meat of the sacrifice that is offered to idols. We know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge fills you with pride. But love helps you to be stronger than others.

7 But not all people know this. Some people are still in the habit of worshiping idols. So when they eat this meat, they feel like it belongs to an idol. They don’t know if it’s okay to eat this meat. So when they eat this meat, they think they are doing something wrong.
1 Corinthians 8: 7

1 Corinthians 8:10
11 So this weak brother can be destroyed because of your knowledge. And Christ was sacrificed for this brother.

12 When you cause your brothers and sisters in Christ to do something they think is wrong, you are sinning against them and hurting them. Then you are also sinning against Christ.
1 Corinthians 8:12
13 Therefore I will never again eat the flesh that I have caused my brother to sin. I will stop eating meat so that I will not let my brother and sister fall into sin.
1 Corinthians 8:13
