1 At that time King Herod began to punish some of the people in the church. Acts 12: 1
2 For Herod commanded John, the brother of John, to be slain with the sword. Acts 12: 2
3 When he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Jewish holiday of Passover. Acts 12: 3
4 Herod arrested Peter and put him in prison. He assigned sixteen soldiers to watch over him. He wanted to wait for the Passover to pass and then bring Peter before the people. Acts 12: 4
5So Peter was kept in prison, but the believers kept praying to the Lord for him. Acts 12: 5
12 After that, Pilate tried hard to free Jesus. But the Jews cried out, saying, Whosoever shall make him king, it is against Caesar. So if you let this man go, it means you are not Caesar’s friend. ” John 19:12
13 When Pilate heard these things, he brought him out to a place called The Stone. (Which is called in Hebrew) and sat down on the judge’s chair. John 19:13
14 It was about noon, and it was a day of preparation for the Passover. Pilate said to the Jews, “Look, your king is here.” John 19:14
15 The Jews therefore rebuked him, saying, Take him away, and take him away, and crucify him. This is the king, Caesar. ” John 19:15
16 Then Pilate handed Jesus over to the Jews to be crucified. The soldiers took Jesus away. John 19:16
1 And as he passed by, he saw a man which was blind. This man was born blind. John 9: 1
2 And his disciples say unto him, Master, this man is blind from his birth: but whose sins is this that blind him? Because of his own sins or the sins of his parents? ” John 9: 2
3 Jesus said, “This is not the result of his sins or the sins of his parents. But he was born blind to show God’s power to people. John 9: 3
4 We must do the work of the God who sent me in the day. Because then it will be night, and no one can work at night. John 9: 4
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. ” John 9: 5
6 After saying this, Jesus spat on the ground and made a little mud with it and applied the mud to the blind man’s eye. John 9: 6
7 Jesus said to the man, “Go and wash your eyes in the pool of Siloam.” Siloam means “sent.” So he went to the pool, washed his eyes, and returned. Now he could see everything. John 9: 7
8 People who saw him begging. And his neighbors said, “Look, this is not the same person who used to sit and beg.” John 9: 8
9 Some said, “Yes, it is.” But others said, “No, this is not the man, it looks like him.” But the man said, “I am the same man. John 9: 9
10 The people asked, “How did this happen? How did you get your sight? ” John 9:10
11 The man answered, “A man named Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to the pool of Solomon to wash. When I went to the pool of Solomon and washed my eyes, I was able to see. ” John 9:11
12 Then said they unto him, Where is he? And he said, I know not. John 9:12
