Servant of Moses, Son of Christ

1 So all of you should think about Jesus. God sent Jesus exactly to us, and he is the high priest of our faith. My holy brothers and sisters, I tell you, God has called you all.
Hebrews 3: 1

2 God sent Jesus to us and made him our high priest. And Jesus was just as faithful to God as Moses was. He did everything God wanted him to do in the whole house of God.

3 When a person builds a house, people respect that person more than the house. It is the same with Jesus. Jesus deserves more respect than Moses.

4 Every house is built by someone, but God is the one who made everything.
Hebrews 3: 4

5 Moses was faithful as a servant in all the house of God. He told the people about the people that God could tell them in the future.
Hebrews 3: 5

6 But Jesus is like the Son who faithfully rules over God’s house. We are the house of the faithful God. If we are determined and boast in our hope which is so great, then we are the house of God.

Psalms The first part

1 Blessed is the man that doeth not the counsel of the wicked, and liveth not as the sinner. And not like those who do not respect God.
Psalm 1: 1

2 A good man loveth the word of the LORD, and meditate on it day and night.
Psalm 1: 2

3 In this way he grows strong like a tree that grows evenly along the river. And that tree bears fruit at the right time. He is like a tree whose leaves do not wither and it becomes fruitful in all its actions.
Psalm 1: 3

4 But bad people are not like that. Bad people are like straw that is blown away by the wind.
Psalm 1: 4

5 If good people come together to judge a court case, bad people will be judged for bad deeds. Those sinners will not be judged as innocent.
Psalm 1: 5

6 Why? Because Jehovah protects the righteous, but destroys the wicked.

The glorious future of Jerusalem

2 The branch of Yahweh will be very beautiful and great. And the remnant of Israel will be very proud of the things that grow in that land.
Isaiah 4: 2

3 At that time, all the people who are still living in Zion and Jerusalem will be called holy people. This will happen to all the people whose names will be on the special list, on the list of people who will have the honor of living.

4 The Lord will cleanse the women of Zion from blood. The Lord will wash away all the blood from Jerusalem. God will use the spirit of justice to do true justice. And he will use the Spirit of fire, and will cleanse everything.

5 At that time God will prove that he is with his people. During the day, God will create a cloud of smoke. And at night God will make a blazing fire. All this will be in heaven, in every house, and in every assembly of the people on Mount Zion. Everyone will have a veil of safety.

6 This curtain will be a safety net. This curtain will protect the people from the heat of the sun. This curtain will be protected from all kinds of floods and rains.
Isaiah 4: 6
