
35 But one may ask, “How do the dead rise to life? What kind of body will they have? ”

36 These questions are foolish. When you plant something, it must die in the ground before it can live and grow.

37 And when you sow, it does not have the body it receives. Whatever you sow, be it a grain of wheat or a grain of another crop, it is only the seed you have received.

38 But God gives to the seed the body which he (God) desires, and God gives to the seed his body.

39 The flesh of all living things is not the same. Human flesh is one of a kind. Other types of animal meat. And the flesh of birds of any kind. And the flesh of the fish is very different.

40 There are also bodies in the heavens and physical bodies on the earth. But the beauty of the heavenly bodies is the same. The beauty of physical bodies is different.

41 The beauty of the sun is one kind, the beauty of the moon is another, and the beauty of the stars is another. And each star is different in its beauty.

42 It is the same with those who have been raised from the dead. The body that is sown will burn. But the body that has been raised to life cannot be destroyed.

43 When the body is “sown,” it has no respect. But it is raised in glory. When the body is “sown,” it is weak, but when life is raised, it is strong.

44 The body that is sown is the physical body. When this life is raised, it is a spiritual body. Just as there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.

45 It is written, “The first man became a living being,” but the last man became a spirit that gives life.

46 The spiritual man did not come first. It was the physical human that came first. Then came the spiritual man.

47 The first man was made of the dust of the earth, the second man was made of the sky.

48 people are from the earth. They are like the first humans on earth. But those who belong to heaven are like the people in heaven.

49 We were made like humans on earth. So we too will be made like the humans in heaven.

50 Brothers and sisters, I tell you this; Flesh and blood cannot be part of God’s Kingdom. A perishable thing can never be combined with an immortal thing.

51 But listen, I tell you this secret. We will not all die but we will all change.

52 It will only take a moment. We will change in the twinkling of an eye. That is when the last trumpet will sound. The trumpet will be blown and the believers who have died will be resurrected. Some will get bodies that cannot be destroyed.
1 Corinthians 15:52
53 For this perishable body will be clothed with incorruptible flesh. And the body that dies is given a body that does not die.

54 Therefore when the corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be the saying of the scriptures fulfilled: Death is defeated in victory.

55 “Death, where is your victory? Grave, where is your power to hurt? ”

56 The power to cause death is sin. And the power of sin is the law.

57 But we are thankful to God. He gives victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong. Don’t allow anything to change you. Always devote yourself completely to the Lord’s work. You know that whatever you do in the Lord will not be in vain.
