25 “Amazing signs will appear in the sun, moon, and stars. The nations of the earth will feel fear and bewilderment when they see the tossing and roaring of the sea. Luke 21:25
26 People will panic and they will worry about what will become of the world everything will turn into the sky. Luke 21:26
27 Then people will see the Son of Man coming on clouds with power and great glory. Luke 21:27
28 When these things begin to happen, stand up and take courage, because the time of your redemption is near.” Luke 21:28
12 A human body has only one body, but it has many parts. Yes, the same body has many parts, but all these parts make only one body. So is Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12
13 Some of us are Jews and some are non-Greeks; Some of us are slaves and some are free. But we are baptized through one Spirit, into one body. And this is the Spirit that is given to all of us. 1 Corinthians 12:13
14 And a person has more than one body part. It has many parts. 1 Corinthians 12:14
15 One foot can say, “I am not the hand. So I have nothing to do with my body. ” But just by saying this, the foot does not stop being a part of the body. 1 Corinthians 12:15
16 One ear says, I am not an eye, therefore I am not a part of the body. But just by saying this, the ear does not stop being a part of the body. 1 Corinthians 12:16
17 If the whole body were an eye, the body would not be able to hear. Or if the whole body was an ear, then the body could not smell anything. 1 Corinthians 12:17
18 For if every part of the body were one, there were no bodies. But as God pleased, he put the parts in the body. He has made room for everyone. 1 Corinthians 12:18
19 But if they were all the same, where would the body be? 1 Corinthians 12:19
20 So now, although there are many parts, there is only one body. 1 Corinthians 12:20
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I do not need you,” and the head cannot say, “I do not need you.” 1 Corinthians 12:21
22 No. The parts of the body that look weak are really needed. 1 Corinthians 12:22
23 And we pay special attention to those parts of the body which we consider less honorable. And the body parts that we don’t like to show, we pay special attention to them. 1 Corinthians 12:23
24 But the parts of our body that are beautiful do not need our special attention. But God put all the parts together to give them the more glory they need. 1 Corinthians 12:24
25 God did this so that our bodies would not be divided. It was God’s intention that all the members take the same care of each other. 1 Corinthians 12:25
26 If one part of the body suffers, all the other members suffer with it. Or if one organ gets honor then other organs also share in that honor. 1 Corinthians 12:26
27 You are the body of Christ all together. Every one of you is a part of this body. 1 Corinthians 12:27
28 And God hath given to each one a place in the church: first, the apostles; second, the prophets, and third, the teachers. Then God gave them a place. Those who perform miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who are able to lead, and those who can speak in different languages. 1 Corinthians 12:28
29 Not all people are apostles. Not all people are prophets. Not all people are teachers. Not all people can perform miracles. 1 Corinthians 12:29
30 Not all people have the gift of healing. Not all people speak different languages. Not all people can interpret those languages. 1 Corinthians 12:30
31 But truly you should desire great gifts. And now I show you the best way. 1 Corinthians 12:31
19 The Jews in Jerusalem sent some priests and Levites to John. The Jews sent them to ask him, “Who are you?” John 1:19
20 John spoke openly and did not refuse to answer. He said plainly, “I am not the Christ.” John 1:20
21 The Jews asked John, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah? ”John answered,“ No, I am not Elijah. ”The Jews asked,“ Are you a prophet? ”John answered,“ No, I am not a prophet. ” John 1:21
22 Then the Jews asked, “Who are you? Tell us about yourself. Answer us so we can tell those who sent us. What do you say about yourself? ” John 1:22
23 And John spake unto them the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John 1:23
24 These Jews were sent by the Pharisees. John 1:24
25 They said to him, “You say that you are not the Christ. You say, “You are neither Elijah nor a prophet. Why then do you baptize people? ” John 1:25
26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; John 1:26
27 He is the one who will come after me. I can’t even untie his shoes. “ John 1:27
28 All these things happened in Bethany beyond the Jordan. John baptized people there. John 1:28
