20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: John 12:20
21 These Greeks came to Philip from Galilee and Bethsaida. They begged him, “Sir! We want to see Jesus. ” John 12:21
22 Philip came and told Andrew, and Andrew and Philip came and told Jesus. John 12:22
23 Jesus answered, “The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. John 12:23
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. John 12:24
25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; But whoever does not love his life in this world will be saved for everlasting life. John 12:25
26 Whoever serves me must follow me, and then my servant will be with me wherever I am. He who serves me, the Father honors him. John 12:26
8 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will plead thy cause, and I will hearken unto thy voice; and I will save thee, and I will keep thee, and I will keep thee, and thou shalt bear witness. It may be that I have made a covenant with the people, and now the land is ruined, but you will give that land back to the people who owned it. Isaiah 49: 8
9 You will say to the prisoners, ‘Get out of your prison!’ You will say to those who are in darkness, ‘Get out of the darkness!’ People will eat while traveling. They will also have food in the barren hills. Isaiah 49: 9
10 People will not go hungry. They will not be thirsty. The sun and wind will not harm them. Because God comforts them. And God will lead them. He will lead them to the springs of water. Isaiah 49:10
11 I will make a way for my people. Mountains will be leveled and low roads will be raised. Isaiah 49:11
12 Look! People are coming to me from far away. People are coming to me from the north and from the west. People are coming to me from Aswan in Egypt. “ Isaiah 49:12
13 Rejoice, O heavens and earth! From the mountains, shout for joy! Because Jehovah comforts his people. Jehovah does good to his poor. Isaiah 49:13
14 But Zion now says, “The Lord has forsaken me. My Lord has forgotten me.” Isaiah 49:14
15 But I say, Can a mother forget her child? No! Even if she forgets, I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15
16 See, I have engraved your name on my habel. I think of you all the time! Isaiah 49:16
17 Your children will come back to you. People beat you, but they will leave you alone. “ Isaiah 49:17
18 Look away! Look around you! All your children are coming together and coming to you. Thus saith the LORD, As I live, saith the LORD, thy children shall be as pearls which thou putt on thy neck. Isaiah 49:18
19 Now you are destroyed and defeated. Your land is useless. But after a short time, there will be many people on your earth. And the people who destroyed you will be far away. Isaiah 49:19
20 You were sad because of your lost children, but those children will tell you, ‘This place is too small!’ Give us a big place to live. ‘ Isaiah 49:20
21 Then you will say to yourself, ‘Who gave me all these children? that’s great! I was sad and lonely. I was defeated and away from my people. So who gave me these children? Look, I was left alone. Where did all these kids come from? “ Isaiah 49:21
22 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out my hand unto the heathen, and I will raise up my flag before all the people; and they shall bring thy children unto thee. Support them with your arms. Isaiah 49:22
23 Kings will be the teachers of your children. The king’s daughters will take care of them. Those kings and their daughters will bow down to you. They will kiss the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Then you will know that anyone who trusts me will not be disappointed. “ Isaiah 49:23
24 When a strong soldier wins in battle, you cannot take away that wealth from him. When a strong soldier guards a prisoner, that prisoner cannot escape. Isaiah 49:24
25 But the Lord says, “The prisoners will escape. Someone will take them away from the strong soldiers. How will this happen? I will fight your battles. I will save your children.” Isaiah 49:25
26 Those people hurt you. But I will force those people to eat my own body. They will have their own blood, which makes them miserable. Then everyone will know that the Lord saved you. Everyone will know that you were saved by the mighty man of Jacob. “ Isaiah 49:26
