10 Jacob left Beersheba and went to Haran. Genesis 28:10
11 While Jacob was traveling, the sun went down. So Jacob went somewhere to spend the night. Jacob saw a rock there and fell asleep with his head on it. Genesis 28:11
12 Jacob had a dream. He had a dream that there was a ladder that was attached to the earth and went up to the sky. Jacob saw angels of God ascending and descending this ladder. Genesis 28:12
13 And Jacob saw the LORD standing by the stairs. The Lord said, “I am the Lord God of your grandfather Abraham. I am the God of Isaac. I will give you this land on which you are now lying. I will give this land to you and your children. Genesis 28:13
14 You will have many descendants. They will be as many as the dust particles on the earth. They will spread east, west and north, south. All the families of the earth will be blessed by you and your descendants. Genesis 28:14
15 “I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. I will bring you back to this earth. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised. ” Genesis 28:15
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “I know that the Lord is here. But I didn’t know it until I fell asleep. “ Genesis 28:16
17 Jacob was afraid. He said, “This is a great place. This is the house of God. This is the door of heaven. Genesis 28:17
18 Jacob got up very early in the morning. Jacob took the cob on which he had slept, and weighed it on one side. Then he rubbed oil on the seal. In this way he made it a memorial of God. Genesis 28:18
19 The place was called Luz. But Jacob called it Bethel. Genesis 28:19
20 Then Jacob made a promise. He said, “If God is with me, and if God will keep me on this journey, and if God gives me food and drink, Genesis 28:20
21 And if I come in peace to my father’s house, then the LORD will be my God. Genesis 28:21
22 I am setting up this stone as a memorial stone. It will show that this is a holy place for God. And I will give tithes of all that he giveth me. Genesis 28:22
1 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of my Father which is in Israel, All of them were under the clouds and all walked through the sea. 1 Corinthians 10: 1
2 And Moses baptized them in the cloud and in the sea; 1 Corinthians 10: 2
3 They all ate the same spiritual food. 1 Corinthians 10: 3
4 And they all drank the same spiritual water. From the spiritual rock that was with them. That rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10: 4
5 But God was not pleased with most of them. They were killed in the desert. 1 Corinthians 10: 5
6 And these things that happened are examples for us. We need to learn from these examples that we should not be tempted to do bad things. 1 Corinthians 10: 6
7 You must not worship idols, as some of them have done. It is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink. They got up to dance. ” 1 Corinthians 10: 7
8 We must not commit sexual immorality like some of them do. One of them in a day because of their sins 1 Corinthians 10: 8
9 Let us not tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted God. They died from the sting of the serpent, because they tried God. 1 Corinthians 10: 9
10 Don’t complain like many of them did. So those people were destroyed by the angel of death. 1 Corinthians 10:10
11 What happened to those people is an example for us. These things are written to warn us. We are living in the last days of history. 1 Corinthians 10:11
12 Therefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12
13 Every human being has the same urges that you have. But you can trust God. He will not let you test more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way out of this temptation. Then you will be able to tolerate it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
14 Wherefore, my dear friends, abstain from idolatry. 1 Corinthians 10:14
15 I speak to you as wise men; Judge for yourselves what I say. 1 Corinthians 10:15
16 The cup of blessing for which we give thanks and from which we drink; Does it not make us share in the blood of Christ? And the bread which we break and eat, does it not make us share in the body of Christ? 1 Corinthians 10:16
17 There is one bread, and although we are many, we are all one body, for we all share that one bread. 1 Corinthians 10:17
18 Think of the people of Israel. Don’t those who eat the meat of the sacrifice share in the altar? 1 Corinthians 10:18
19 I do not mean that the meat sacrificed to idols is important, nor do I mean that idols are important. 1 Corinthians 10:19
20 But I say that the things which are offered to idols are not given to God, but to demons. And I don’t want you to be associated with demons. 1 Corinthians 10:20
21 You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons. You cannot share the table of the Lord and the table of demons. 1 Corinthians 10:21
22 Do we want to make the Lord jealous? Are we stronger than he? No 1 Corinthians 10:22
1 “Arise, O Jerusalem, my light! Your light (Jehovah) is coming. The glory of the Lord will shine on you. Isaiah 60: 1

3 The nations will come to your light. Kings will come to your bright light. Isaiah 60: 3
4 Look around you. Look at the people around you gathering and coming towards you. They are coming from far away, your son. And your daughters are coming with them. Isaiah 60: 4
5 This will happen in the future. And at that time, you will see your people and your faces shining with joy. At first you will be scared but then you will be excited! All the wealth across the seas will be laid before you. The riches of the nations will come to you. Isaiah 60: 5
6 Herds of camels from Midian and Ephah will pass through your land. From Sheba will come long lines of camels. They will bring gold and perfumes. People will sing praises to the Lord. Isaiah 60: 6
7 The people will gather all the sheep from Kedar and give them to you. They will bring dumbass from Nabayob. You will offer those animals on my altar. And I will accept them. I will make my wonderful temple even more beautiful. Isaiah 60: 7
Look at 8 people! They are rushing towards you like clouds passing through the sky. They are like doves returning to their nests. Isaiah 60: 8
9 Far away countries are waiting for me. Large cargo ships ready to sail. Those ships are ready to bring your children from distant lands. They will bring silver and gold with them to honor the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel. The Lord does wonderful things for you. Isaiah 60: 9
10 Children from other lands will build your walls again. Their kings will serve you. When I was hungry, I hurt you. But now, I want to have mercy on you, so I will comfort you. Isaiah 60:10
11 Your doors will always be open. They will not be closed during the day or night. The nations and their kings will bring their riches to you. Isaiah 60:11
12 Any nation or capital that does not serve you will be destroyed. Isaiah 60:12
13 You will be given all the great things of Lebanon. People will bring you cedar trees, poplar trees and cypress trees. These trees will be used for wood work to make my holy saban more beautiful. This soap is like a table in front of my throne and I will be very proud of it. Isaiah 60:13
14 In the past, people hurt you. Those people will bow down to you. In the past, people hated you, those people will bow at your feet. They will call you ‘City of the Lord’, Zion of the Holy One of Israel. “ Isaiah 60:14
15 “You will never be left alone again. You will never be hated again. You will never be deprived again. I will make you great forever. You will be happy forever.” Isaiah 60:15
16 The nations will give you everything you need. It will be like a baby that is breastfed. But you will drink the riches of kings. Then you will know that it is I, the Lord, who made you. You will know that the great God of Jacob protects you. Isaiah 60:16
17 Now you have brass, and I will bring you gold. Now you have iron, I will bring you silver. I will turn your wood into brass. I will change your sentence into peace. Now people hurt you but people will do good things for you. Isaiah 60:17
18 There will be no more violence in your country. People will never invade your country or steal from you. You will name your walls ‘Mukti’. You will name your rates ‘Ustat’. Isaiah 60:18
During the 19 days, the sun will no longer be your light. Then the moonlight will not be your night light. For Jehovah will be your light forever. Your God will be your glory. Isaiah 60:19
20 Your sun will never set again. Your moon will never be dark again. For Jehovah will be your light forever. And the time of your sadness will end. Isaiah 60:20
21 All your people will be good. Those people will get the land forever. I made those people. They are a wonderful plant that I made with my own hands. Isaiah 60:21
22 Even the smallest family will become a large family group. Even the smallest family will become a powerful nation. When the time is right, I, the Lord, will come soon. I will let these things happen. “ Isaiah 60:22
