A life of service to God

1 Wherefore, brethren, I beseech you, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your lives a living sacrifice before God; This offering must be for God alone and to please him. This self-sacrifice is the spiritual worship of your God.
Romans 12: 1

2 Do not make yourselves like the people of this world, but refresh your minds and think in a new way so that you may know and accept the will of God. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to God, and what is right.
Romans 12: 2

3 God has given me a special gift. That is why I want to say something to each of you. Don’t assume that you are better than you really are. You have to look at yourself as you really are. You can judge by your faith what God has given you.
Romans 12: 3

4 We all have bodies, and many parts of that body do not work the same.
Romans 12: 4

5 In the same way, we are many people, but we are one body in Christ. We are all part of that body and each part belongs to all the other parts of the body.
Romans 12: 5

6 We are all endowed with various gifts. Every gift is given to us by the grace of God. If a person has the gift of prophecy, he should use it according to his faith.
Romans 12: 6

7 If anyone is given the gift of service, let him serve. If anyone has the fruit of teaching, he should teach.
Romans 12: 7

8 If a man has the gift of comfort, let him use it for the good of others. If a person has a gift to give to others, let him give generously. If a person has the gift of leadership, let him lead with his hard work. If a person has the gift of showing kindness, let him do it with joy.
Romans 12: 8

9 Let your love be true, and hate evil, and do good.
Romans 12: 9

10 Love one another as brothers and sisters in nature. Give more honor to your brothers and sisters than you want to honor yourself.
Romans 12:10

11 Don’t be lazy when you need to work for God, as much as you can. Be spiritually motivated and absorbed in His service.
Romans 12:11

12 Rejoice in hope, and be patient in tribulation; Pray all the time.
Romans 12:12

13 Share things with God’s people who need help. Look for people who need help and invite them to your home.
Romans 12:13

14 Say good things to those who treat you badly, and do not curse them.
Romans 12:14

15 When other people are happy, join in their happiness. If they are sad, share their sadness.
Romans 12:15

16 Live in peace with one another. Don’t be arrogant. Be willing to make friends with ordinary people. Don’t overestimate your knowledge.
Romans 12:16

17 If someone does something wrong to you, don’t retaliate. Make your goal the best for everyone.
Romans 12:17

18 Do as much as you can to be at peace with all people.
Romans 12:18

19 My friends. When someone does evil to you, do not punish him for it, but wait for God to punish them with His wrath. The Lord says, I am the one who punishes. I will take revenge on the people. ”
Romans 12:19

20 But if your enemy is hungry, give him food. If your enemy is thirsty, give him something to drink. Doing so will make him feel ashamed. “
Romans 12:20

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Jehovah’s vision to Samuel

1 Samuel continued to serve Jehovah under Eli. In those days, the Lord often did not speak directly to the people, and there were very few visions.
1 Samuel 3: 1

2 Eli’s eyesight was so weak that he almost stopped seeing. One night he lay down on the bed and

3 Samuel was lying down in the Lord’s Holy House. The Lord’s Holy Box was in that holy house. Jehovah’s lamp was still burning.
1 Samuel 3: 3

4 The Lord called Samuel, and Samuel said, “Here I am.”
1 Samuel 3: 4

5 Samuel thought he was calling Eli, so he ran to Eli and said to Eli, “Here I am. Did you call me?” But Eli said, “I didn’t call you. You go to sleep.” Go. “Samuel went back to his bed.
1 Samuel 3: 5

6 The Lord called again, “Samuel!” Samuel ran to Eli again and said, “You called me, and I am here.” Eli said, “I did not call you. Go back to your bed.”
1 Samuel 3: 6

7 Samuel did not yet know the Lord. He had not yet received the word directly from the Lord.
1 Samuel 3: 7

8 The Lord called Samuel a third time. Samuel got up again and went to Eli and said, “I am here, you have called me.” Then Eli realized that it was Jehovah who was calling the boy.
1 Samuel 3: 8

9 Eli said to Samuel, “Go, go to your bed. If he calls you again, say, ‘Lord, tell me, your servant listens.'” So Samuel lay down on the bed.
1 Samuel 3: 9

10 And the LORD came and stood beside him, and said unto him, Samuel, Samuel, as he had said unto him.
1 Samuel 3:10

11 The Lord said to Samuel, “I am going to do something in Israel very soon. Anyone who hears this will be amazed.
1 Samuel 3:11

12 The day I judge Eli’s family, I will punish his family completely. I will do everything I say against his family – from beginning to end.
1 Samuel 3:12

13 I will do this because Eli knew that his sons were blaspheming God and doing bad things. And Eli could not control them.
1 Samuel 3:13

14 So I swear that the sacrifices and the grain offerings will never remove the sins of Eli’s family. “
1 Samuel 3:14

15 Samuel lay in bed until morning. He got up early in the morning and opened all the doors of God’s house. Samuel was afraid to tell Eli about the vision.
1 Samuel 3:15

16 But Eli said to Samuel, “Samuel, my son!” Samuel answered, “Yes, Lord.”
1 Samuel 3:16

17 Eli said, “What has the Lord said to you? Do not hide anything from me. If you hide from me what God has said to you, God will punish you severely.”
1 Samuel 3:17

18 So Samuel told Eli everything. Samuel did not hide anything from Eli. Eli said, “He is the Lord. He has the right to do whatever he wants.”
1 Samuel 3:18

19 The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up. Jehovah did not allow any of Samuel’s words to be false.
1 Samuel 3:19

20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was prophet of the LORD.
1 Samuel 3:20

21 And the LORD appeared frequently to Samuel in Shiloh. For the Lord revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by his word.

Daniel found vision by the river

1 Cyrus was king of Persia. During the third year of Cyrus’ reign, Daniel learned of these things. (Daniel’s other name is Belshazzar.) These things are true but very difficult to understand. But Daniel understood these things. These were explained to him in a vision.
Daniel 10: 1

2 Daniel says, “During that time, I, Daniel, wept for three weeks.
Daniel 10: 2

3 During those three weeks I did not eat any good food. I did not eat any meat. I did not drink any wine. I did not put any oil on my head. I didn’t do any of these things for three weeks.
Daniel 10: 3

4 “On the 24th day of the first month of the year, I was standing on the bank of the great river Tigris.
Daniel 10: 4

5 While I was standing there, I looked up. And I saw a man standing in front of me. He was wearing cotton clothes. A belt of pure gold was tied around his waist.
Daniel 10: 5

6 His body was like a shining stone. His face shone like lightning! His eyes were like flames of fire. His hands and feet were like shining brass! His voice was as loud as a crowd!
Daniel 10: 6

7 “I, Daniel, was the only one who saw this vision. The men around me did not see the vision, but they were afraid. They were so frightened that they ran and hid.
Daniel 10: 7

8 So I was left alone. I was watching this vision – and it scared me. I lost my strength. My face became like the face of a dead man, and I was helpless.
Daniel 10: 8

9 Then I heard the man in the vision speaking. As I listened to his voice, I fell into a deep sleep. My face fell to the ground.
Daniel 10: 9

10 “Then a hand touched me when it happened,” I stood up with my hands and feet. I was so scared I was shaking.
Daniel 10:10

11 The man in the vision said to me, 9 Daniel, God loves you very much. Think carefully about the words I am telling you. Arise, I have been sent to you. And when he said this, I got up and stood up. I was still shaking because I was scared.
Daniel 10:11

12 Then the man in the vision started talking again. He said, 9 Daniel, don’t be afraid. From the first day you decided to acquire wisdom and to be built before God. He has been listening to your prayers. I have come to you because you have been praying.
Daniel 10:12

13 But the prince of Persia has been fighting with me and has been bothering me for 21 days. Then one of the most important princes, Michael, came to my aid, so I left him there with the king of Persia.
Daniel 10:13

14 Daniel, I have come to tell you now what will happen to your people in the future. This vision is about the future
Daniel 10:14

15 “While the man was talking to me, I bowed down and prostrated myself. I could not speak.
Daniel 10:15

16 Then he, who looked like a man, touched my lips. I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing in front of me, 9 Sir, my stomach is churning because of what I saw in the vision. I feel helpless.
Daniel 10:16

17 Sir, I am your servant Daniel. How can I talk to you? I have lost my strength and I find it difficult to breathe. ‘
Daniel 10:17

18 “He looked like a man. He touched me again. When he touched me, I felt better.
Daniel 10:18

19 Then he said, 9 Daniel, don’t be afraid. God loves you so much. Peace be upon you. Now be strong, be strong. 9 “When he spoke to me, I became strong. Then I said, 9 Sir, you have given me strength. Now you can speak.”
Daniel 10:19

20 “Then he said,” 9 Daniel, do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will have to go back to fight the prince of Persia. When I go, the prince of Greece will come. .
Daniel 10:20

21 But Daniel, before I go I will tell you what is written in the book of truth. No one but Michael stands with me against those evil angels. Michael is the prince (angel) who rules over your people.
