12 The next day the people heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. There were many people coming to the Passover. John 12:12
13 They came to meet Jesus with palm branches and shouted, “Praise him! May God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord.” John 12:13
14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it. He completed what was written in the book John 12:14
15 “Don’t be afraid, daughter of Zion! Behold, your King comes riding on a young donkey. ” Zechariah John 12:15
16 Jesus’ disciples at that time did not understand what he was doing. But when Jesus was glorified, they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things for him. John 12:16
17 When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, a large crowd was with him, and he called out to Lazarus to come out of the tomb. Now those people were telling others about what they had seen and heard. John 12:17
18 Many people came to see Jesus because they had heard about his miracle. John 12:18
19 Then the Pharisees began to say to one another, “Look! Our plan is in vain, because everyone is following it. “ John 12:19
6 And Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound and bound with two chains: and the keepers of the prison kept watch. It was late at night, and Herod was planning to bring Peter before the people the next morning. Acts 12: 6
7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared there. The room was very bright. The angel touched her from the side and woke her up. The angel said, “Hurry! Get up. ” The chains fell off Peter’s hands. Acts 12: 7
8 The angel said to Peter, “Put on your clothes and put on your sandals.” That is what Peter did. Then the angel said, “Put on your coat and follow me.” Acts 12: 8
9 And the angel departed, and followed him. But Peter did not know that what the angel was doing was really happening. He thought maybe he was seeing a vision. Acts 12: 9
10 And they went through the first and the second, and came unto the iron gate that leadeth into the city. He opened the door for them on his own, and they went out on the street, but the angel disappeared from him. Acts 12:10
11 Then Peter understood what had happened. He thought, “Now I understand that the Lord actually sent this angel for me. He delivered me from the hand of Herod. The Jews thought that bad things would happen to me, but God saved me from all these things. ” Acts 12:11
12 When Peter realized this, he went to Mary’s house. She was the mother of John. John was also known as Mark. Many people were there, and they were praying. Acts 12:12
13 Peter knocked at the door, and a maid named Rodo came out to answer him. Acts 12:13
14 She recognized Peter’s voice, and was glad. She was so happy that she forgot to open the door for him and ran to tell the group about Peter’s arrival, saying, “Peter is standing at the door.” Acts 12:14
15 The believers said to Rodo, “You are crazy.” But she kept saying, “No, it is true.” They thought, “It must be Peter’s angel.” Acts 12:15
16 Peter kept knocking. When the believers opened the door, they were amazed to see Peter. Acts 12:16
17 Peter motioned to them to be quiet. He explained to them how the Lord had helped him get out of prison. He said, “Tell these things to Jacob and to the other brothers.” After that Peter went to another place. Acts 12:17
18 The next morning the soldiers were very upset. They wondered what had happened to Peter. Acts 12:18
19 Herod looked for Peter everywhere, but he could not find him. So he questioned the guards. Then Herod went from Judea to Caesarea, and stayed there for a while. Acts 12:19
1 Have mercy on me, O God, in your loving kindness. Forgive me all my sins because of your great mercy. Psalm 51: 1
2 Wash away my guilt, O God. Wash away my sins, cleanse me once more. Psalm 51: 2
3 I know that I have sinned, and I always see those sins. Psalm 51: 3
4 I have done what you say is wrong. You are the God against whom I have sinned. I accept these things to let people know that I was wrong and you were right. Your judgments are fair. Psalm 51: 4
5 I was born in sin, and in the midst of it my mother conceived me. Psalm 51: 5
6 God, you want me to be truly faithful to you, so put your true wisdom in my heart. Psalm 51: 6
7 Use the holy plant and make the sin a ritual to cleanse me. Wash me until I am white as snow. Psalm 51: 7
8 Give me joy. Tell me to be happy again. Let the bones that you crushed be happy. Psalm 51: 8
9 God, don’t look at my sins, wipe them all out. Psalm 51: 9
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God. Strengthen my soul once again. Psalm 51:10
11 Don’t push me away. And do not draw your Holy Spirit from me. Psalm 51:11
12 How happy I am with your help! Give me that joy again. Make my soul strong and ready to obey your Hukam. Psalm 51:12
13 I will teach sinners the way you want them to live and they will come back to you. Psalm 51:13
14 Deliver me, O God, from the snares of death. Let me sing about your loyalty. Psalm 51:14
15 My lord, I will open my mouth and sing praises to you. Psalm 51:15
16 You don’t really need sacrifices, so why should I offer sacrifices that you don’t even need? Psalm 51:16
17 The sacrifice God wants is a spirit that is not filled with pride. O God, you do not turn away the man who comes to you in a humble and humble way. Psalm 51:17
18 God, please be kind to Zion. Rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Psalm 51:18
19 Then you will enjoy the good sacrifices and the next offerings, and then the people will offer bulls on your altar. Psalm 51:19
