Paul and the false apostles

1 I want you to be patient with me even when I am a little foolish but you are already patient with me.
2 Corinthians 11: 1

2 I am jealous of you. And this jealousy comes from God. I promise to give you Christ so that only he can be your husband. I want to present you to Christ to be her virginity.
2 Corinthians 11: 2

3 But I fear, lest by any means, your hearts turn away from righteousness and Christ. As the wind was deceived by the serpent’s devilish plan.
2 Corinthians 11: 3

4 You are very humble with everyone who comes to you. Who preaches about Jesus things that are different from our preaching. You are willing to accept a spirit or gospel that is different from the spirit and gospel that you have received from us. Then you must be patient with me.
2 Corinthians 11: 4

5 I do not think that those “great apostles” are in any way superior to me.
2 Corinthians 11: 5

6 It is true that I am not a good speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every way.
2 Corinthians 11: 6

7 I have preached to you the gospel of God without pay. I humbled myself so that I could make you important. Do you think that I was wrong?
2 Corinthians 11: 7

8 I received a salary from other churches. I took money from them to serve you.
2 Corinthians 11: 8

9 When I was with you, I needed something. But I did not hurt any of you. The brothers from Macedonia gave me everything I needed. I was not a burden to you. And I will never be a burden to you in the future.
2 Corinthians 11: 9

10 No one from Achaia can stop me from boasting about this. I say this with the truth of Christ within me.
2 Corinthians 11:10

11 And why am I not a burden to you? Do you think that is because I do not love you? No God knows I love you.
2 Corinthians 11:11

12 And I will continue to do what I am doing now, so that those people will have no reason to brag. They like to show that the work they are boasting about is like our work.
2 Corinthians 11:12

13 These people are not true apostles. They do things that lie. They disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:13

14 This makes us wonder. Satan also disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:14

15 So we are not surprised when Satan’s servants disguise themselves as servants of the truth. But in the end, those people will be punished for what they did.
2 Corinthians 11:15

Thanksgiving prayer

8 First of all, I thank my God through Jesus Christ our Lord for all of you, because your faith is being talked about all over the world.

9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit with the gospel of his Son, how I always remember you in my prayers;

10 And I always pray that somehow, after all this time, by God’s will, I will come to you in safety.

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

12 That is, that we may be comforted both by faith and by faith in each other.

13 And I would not that ye should be ignorant, brethren, how many times I have desired to come unto you, that, as I have borne fruit among the Gentiles, I also have borne fruit among you. Released

14 I am indebted to the Greeks and Gentiles, to the wise and to the foolish.

15 So I am always ready to preach the Good News to you who live in Rome.

Spiritual treasure in clay pots

1 God gave us this work by His grace. So we will not lose heart.
2 Corinthians 4: 1

2 But we have turned away from the secret and shameful ways, we do not use cunning, nor do we change the word of God. No We clearly preach the truth. In the same way, we show people who we are. That they may know in their hearts what kind of man we are in the sight of God.
2 Corinthians 4: 2

3 The good news we preach is hidden. But it is hidden only from those who are lost.
2 Corinthians 4: 3

4 The Lord of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. They cannot see the light of the gospel, the gospel of the glory of Christ. Christ is the only one who is like God.
2 Corinthians 4: 4

5 We do not preach ourselves. But we preach that Jesus Christ is Lord. And we preach that we are your servants for Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4: 5

6 God once said, “Let the light shine out of the darkness.” And this is the same God who has given light to our hearts. He made known to us the glory of God, who is Christ, and gave it to us.
2 Corinthians 4: 6

7 We have this treasure from God. But we are just like the clay pots in which the treasure is stored. It is clear that this great power is not from us but from God.
2 Corinthians 4: 7

8 We are surrounded by difficulties, but we are not defeated. Often we do not know what to do but we do not give up.
2 Corinthians 4: 8

9 We are persecuted, but God does not forsake us. Sometimes we are thrown down but we are never destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4: 9

10 The mother of Jesus is in our body, and wherever we go, we always carry this death with us, so that the life of Jesus may be shown in our bodies.
2 Corinthians 4:10

11 We are alive, but for Jesus ‘sake we are all in danger of death. This happens to us so that Jesus’ life can be seen in our dying bodies.
2 Corinthians 4:11

12 That is why death is working in us, but life is working in you.
2 Corinthians 4:12

13 It is written in the Scriptures; “Because I believed, I spoke.” Our faith is similar. We believe and that is why we speak.
2 Corinthians 4:13

14 God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead. And we know that God will raise us up along with Jesus. God will bring us with you. We will stand before him.
2 Corinthians 4:14

15 All these things are for you. So God’s grace has been given to more and more people. So much thanks be to God for his glory.
2 Corinthians 4:15
