5 But he was punished for our evil deeds. He was crushed for our sins. The debt that was on our heads – our punishment – he got it. We were healed because of his punishment. We got healed (forgiven) because of his pain. Isaiah 53: 5

1 Who has believed the things which we have declared?  Who Really Accepted Jehovah’s Punishment?
Isaiah 53: 1

2 It grew like a small plant before God.  He was like a root that grows on dry ground.  He did not look important.  He had no special glory.  If we looked at him, we would not see anything special that would make him like in our eyes.
Isaiah 53: 2

3 People made fun of him, and his friends left him.  He was a man in great pain.  He was well aware of the sadness.  People didn’t even respect him enough to look at him carefully.  We didn’t pay attention to him.
Isaiah 53: 3

4 But he took our troubles and embraced them.  He endured our suffering and we thought God was punishing him.  We thought God was punishing him for his actions.  We thought that God had punished him for what he had done.

5 But he was punished for our evil deeds.  He was crushed for our sins.  The debt that was on our heads – our punishment – he got it.  We were healed because of his punishment.  We got healed (forgiven) because of his pain.

6 We all went astray like sheep.  We all went our separate ways.  We did this when Jehovah delivered us from our sin and took all our sin into our own hands.
Isaiah 53: 6

7 He was hurt and punished.  But he never complained.  He said nothing – like a sheep being slaughtered.  He was like a lamb that does not make a sound when someone pulls its wool.  He never opened his mouth to save himself.
Isaiah 53: 7

8 The people used force and took him away – and they did not judge him fairly.  No one can tell about his future family because he was taken away from the world of living people.  He was punished for the sins of my people.
Isaiah 53: 8

9 He died and was buried with the rich.  He was buried with the wicked.  He didn’t do anything wrong. He never lied – but it happened to him.

10 The Lord decided to crush him. The Lord decided that he should suffer, so the servant surrendered himself to death.  But he will live a new life for a very long time.  He will meet his people.  He will fulfill the things that Jehovah wants him to do.
Isaiah 53:10

11 He will suffer much in his spirit, but he will see the good things that will happen.  He will be satisfied with what he has learned.  My good servant will make many people innocent, he will take away their sin.
Isaiah 53:11

12 That is why I will reward him from among my people.  He will share in all the things of those who are strong.  I will do this for him because he died and gave his life for the people. People said he was a criminal.  But the truth is that he took away the sins of many people.  And now he speaks for those who have sinned. “

Sample of Abraham

1 What shall we then say of Abraham, the father of our people?
Romans 4: 1

2 What did he learn about faith? If Abraham had been justified by works, he would have had reason to boast, but he could not boast before God.

3 The Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God accepted his faith and declared him righteous.”

4 When a person works, his salary is given to him not as a gift but as his wages.

5 But if any man do nothing to be justified, but believe in God, he justifieth two wicked men: but God acknowledgeth his faith, and make him righteous.

6 And David also saith, Blessed is the man to whom God hath justified his works;

7 Blessed are the people whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are forgotten.

8 Blessed is the man to whom, the Lord will not reckon sin.

9 Is circumcision only for circumcision? Or is it also for those who are not circumcised? We have already said that Abraham’s faith was accepted by God and his faith made him righteous.
Romans 4: 9

10 But when did this happen? Did God accept Abraham before he was circumcised or after he was circumcised? God accepted him before he was circumcised.

11 He later circumcised her as a sign that God had accepted her. Her circumcision was proof that she was righteous before she was circumcised. Abraham is the father of all people who are not circumcised, but believe. God accepts these people as righteous people.

12 And Abraham is the father of those who are circumcised, but circumcision is not the only thing that makes Abraham their father.

The Gift of sight to the blind from birth

1 And as he passed by, he saw a man which was blind. This man was born blind.
John 9: 1

2 And his disciples say unto him, Master, this man is blind from his birth: but whose sins is this that blind him? Because of his own sins or the sins of his parents? ”
John 9: 2

3 Jesus said, “This is not the result of his sins or the sins of his parents. But he was born blind to show God’s power to people.
John 9: 3

4 We must do the work of the God who sent me in the day. Because then it will be night, and no one can work at night.
John 9: 4

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. ”
John 9: 5

6 After saying this, Jesus spat on the ground and made a little mud with it and applied the mud to the blind man’s eye.
John 9: 6

7 Jesus said to the man, “Go and wash your eyes in the pool of Siloam.” Siloam means “sent.” So he went to the pool, washed his eyes, and returned. Now he could see everything.
John 9: 7

8 People who saw him begging. And his neighbors said, “Look, this is not the same person who used to sit and beg.”
John 9: 8

9 Some said, “Yes, it is.” But others said, “No, this is not the man, it looks like him.” But the man said, “I am the same man.
John 9: 9

10 The people asked, “How did this happen? How did you get your sight? ”
John 9:10

11 The man answered, “A man named Jesus made some mud and put it over my eyes. He told me to go to the pool of Solomon to wash. When I went to the pool of Solomon and washed my eyes, I was able to see. ”
John 9:11

12 Then said they unto him, Where is he? And he said, I know not.
