Spiritual gifts

1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want you to know about the spiritual gifts.
1 Corinthians 12: 1

2 You know the life before you became a believer. You yourself were blindly drawn to the worship of lifeless idols.
1 Corinthians 12: 2

3 Therefore I tell you, everyone who speaks with the help of God’s Spirit. It does not say, “Cursed be Jesus Christ.” And no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ without the help of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12: 3

4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they are all from the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12: 4

5 There are many ways to serve; But all these ways are from the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12: 5

6 And there are also many ways in which God works with people. But all these ways are from the same Lord. God does all the work in us.
1 Corinthians 12: 6

7 The work of the Spirit can be seen in every human being. The Spirit gives us this gift to help other people.
1 Corinthians 12: 7

8 The Spirit gives this gift to a person to speak the language of wisdom. And that same soul gives the gift of speaking with wisdom.
1 Corinthians 12: 8

9 The same Spirit gives faith to a person. And that same Spirit gives a person the gift of healing.
1 Corinthians 12: 9

10 Gives another person the gift of performing miracles, and gives another person the ability to prophesy, and another person the ability to distinguish between good and evil spirits. The Spirit gives a person the power to speak different kinds of languages, and gives another person the power to interpret those languages.
1 Corinthians 12:10

11 The same Spirit does all these things. The soul decides what to give to each person.
1 Corinthians 12:11

Publications on the vision of Paul

1 I have to be proud even though it is not right for me but now I have come to discuss the visions of the Lord and the words of revelation.

2 I know a man in Christ who was suddenly taken up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. I do not know if he was taken away, but God knows.

3 And I know a man, whether he be with the body, or separate from the flesh: but God knoweth;

4 And suddenly he was taken up into heaven, and heard a word which was not spoken, and it is not good for a man to speak.

5 I will be proud of him, but I will not be proud of my weaknesses.

6 For if I should boast, I will not be a fool, for I will speak the truth. But I restrain myself so that no one understands me better than he who sees me or hears me.

7 And because I am not exceedingly exceeded by the abundance of the words of light, a thorn in my flesh, the devil’s messenger, hath struck me so that I may not be exceedingly exceeded.

8 For this cause I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is great unto thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. So I will be very proud of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ will remain with me.

10 For this cause I rejoice in Christ in weaknesses, and in months, and in tribulations, and in distresses: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
