Man’s Stupidity and wickedness

1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God; they are corrupt; they have done wickedly; there is none that doeth good.

2 Jehovah looked down from heaven on the descendants of Adam to see if there was a wise man who sought God.

3 They have all gone astray, they have all become corrupt. There is no one to do good, not even one!

4 Don’t all these evildoers understand, who eat my people like bread, and do not call on the name of the Lord?

5 They were terrified, because God lives with the generation of the righteous.

6 You call evil the way of the wicked, but Jehovah is his refuge.

7 I wish the salvation of Israel had come out of Zion! When God brings his people back from slavery, then Jacob will be gardening and Israel will be happy!

Leaders Instructions

17 Elders who lead the congregation well are worthy of great honor. Those who work through great speech and teaching are people who are yogis of great honor.
1 Timothy 5:17

18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And the scripture saith, The laborer is worthy of his hire.
1 Timothy 5:18

19 Don’t listen to the one who accuses an elder. You should only listen to that person if two or three people testify that the elder has done something wrong.
1 Timothy 5:19

20 Tell sinners that they are doing wrong. Say this in front of the whole congregation. In this way, others will be warned.
1 Timothy 5:20

21 I command you to do these things before God, Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels. But don’t judge people before you know the truth. And treat everyone the same about these things.
1 Timothy 5:21

22 Think carefully before making a person an elder. Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself clean.
1 Timothy 5:22

23 Timothy, you have been drinking only water. Leave it at that. It will be good for your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
1 Timothy 5:23

24 The sins of some people are easy to see. Their sins show that they are guilty before their true judgment. But some people’s sins are visible later.
1 Timothy 5:24

25 So it is with the good works of men. People’s good deeds are quickly seen. Although those good deeds are not easy to see, they cannot remain hidden.
1 Timothy 5:25
