2 I will praise the LORD all the days of my life. I will sing praises to him all my life.

3 Don’t rely on your leaders for help, don’t trust people. Why? Because people can’t save you.

4 People die and are buried. And then all plans to help them end.

5 But those who ask God for help are very happy. They depend on their God, Jehovah.

6 The Lord made the heavens and the earth. The Lord made the sea and everything in it. The Lord will save him forever.

7 The LORD doeth right in the sight of the afflicted: he giveth food to the hungry: he delivereth the captives.

8 The Lord helps the blind to see. The Lord helps those who are in trouble. Jehovah loves good people.

9 The Lord saves strangers in our land. Jehovah helps widows and orphans. But Jehovah destroys the wicked.

10 The LORD shall reign for ever: Zion, thy God shall reign for ever. Praise the Lord!

The path of holiness
1 The dry desert will be very happy. The desert will be happy and will blossom like a flower.
Isaiah 35: 1
2 The desert will be full of blossoming flowers and will be happy. It is as if the desert were dancing with joy. The desert will be as beautiful as the forest of Lebanon, the mountain of Carmel, and the valley of Sharon. This will happen because all people will see the glory of the Lord. People will see the beauty of our God.

3 Strengthen the weak arms. Strengthen weak knees again.

4 People are afraid and confused. Tell those people, “Be strong! Don’t be afraid!” Look, your God will come to punish your enemies. He will come and give you your reward. The Lord will save you.

5 Then the blind will be able to see again. Their eyes will be opened. Then the deaf will hear. Their ears will be opened.

6 People with disabilities will dance like deer. And those who can’t speak now will sing songs of joy in their voices. This will happen when water fountains flow in the desert. On dry land springs of water will flow.

7 At that time, in the scorched earth, there will be pools of real water. There will be water wells on dry land. Water will flow from the earth. Tall water plants will grow where once wild animals ruled.

8 At that time there will be a road. This highway will be called “Pavitra Marg”. Bad people will not be allowed to walk on this road. No fool will walk on that road. Only good people will walk that road.

9 There will be no danger on that road. There will be no lions on that road that will hurt people. There will be no dangerous animals on that road. That road will be for those whom God saves.

10 God will set his people free! And those people will come back to him. People will be happy when they come to Zion. Those people will be happy forever. Their happiness will be like a crown on their head. Their joy and happiness will fill them completely. Sorrow and sadness will go far away.

God’s wrath and mercy
19 Then one of you will ask me, “If God is the one who controls everything we do, why does he blame God for our sins?”

21 A potter who makes pots makes different kinds of pots with the same clay according to his own will for different purposes. He can make some for special use and some for general use.

22 In the same way, God has done. God wanted to show his anger so that people could see his power. God patiently endured those who were angry and prepared for destruction.

23 God endured them patiently, so that he might tell people about his rich glory. He wanted to give this glory to those who receive his favor. God had prepared those people for his glory.

24 We are God’s people. God called us to the Jews and to the nations.

25 As it is written in the book of Hosea, I will say that they which are not mine are my people;

27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Even though the people of Israel are as the sand of the sea in number, very few of them will be saved.

28 For the Lord will judge the people of the earth quickly and completely. ”

29 As Isaiah goes on to say: “The Most High Lord saved some of his people for us. If he had not done so, we would have become like Sodom and go astray.”
