The same destination for all

1 I thought about all these things very carefully. I saw the righteous and the wise, and whatever they do. God controlled. People do not know whether they will find love or hate. They do not know what is in front of them.

2 This is worthless, because the fate of all people is the same: righteous and wicked, good and evil, clean and unclean, those who bring sacrifices and those who do not bring, just and sinful, those who take religious oaths and those who They are afraid to take oaths.

10 Every time you find something to do, do it to the best of your ability. Because in the grave, wherever you are already going, there is no action, no sense of skill, wisdom or knowledge.

11 In this world, I have seen that the swift does not win the race, the mighty does not win the battle, the wise do not get food, the cunning does not become rich, the learned does not become famous. When bad times come, bad things happen to everyone.

12 Man never knows what will happen to him. He is like a fish caught in a net, like a bird caught in a snare.

13 I also saw wisdom in this world, which I thought was truly great.

14 There was a small town where poor people lived. A great king fought against that city and besieged it with his armies.

15 But there was a wise and poor man in that city. He saved the city with his wisdom, but no one remembered this poor man.

16 Wisdom is better than strength, but the wisdom of the poor is not liked, and no one listens to what he has to say.

17 The words of a wise man, even when spoken peacefully, deserve more attention than the cries of a foolish ruler.

18 Wisdom is better than swords and spears. But one foolish sinner can destroy many good things.

Jehovah’s vision to Samuel

1 Samuel continued to serve Jehovah under Eli. In those days, the Lord often did not speak directly to the people, and there were very few visions.
1 Samuel 3: 1

2 Eli’s eyesight was so weak that he almost stopped seeing. One night he lay down on the bed and

3 Samuel was lying down in the Lord’s Holy House. The Lord’s Holy Box was in that holy house. Jehovah’s lamp was still burning.
1 Samuel 3: 3

4 The Lord called Samuel, and Samuel said, “Here I am.”
1 Samuel 3: 4

5 Samuel thought he was calling Eli, so he ran to Eli and said to Eli, “Here I am. Did you call me?” But Eli said, “I didn’t call you. You go to sleep.” Go. “Samuel went back to his bed.
1 Samuel 3: 5

6 The Lord called again, “Samuel!” Samuel ran to Eli again and said, “You called me, and I am here.” Eli said, “I did not call you. Go back to your bed.”
1 Samuel 3: 6

7 Samuel did not yet know the Lord. He had not yet received the word directly from the Lord.
1 Samuel 3: 7

8 The Lord called Samuel a third time. Samuel got up again and went to Eli and said, “I am here, you have called me.” Then Eli realized that it was Jehovah who was calling the boy.
1 Samuel 3: 8

9 Eli said to Samuel, “Go, go to your bed. If he calls you again, say, ‘Lord, tell me, your servant listens.'” So Samuel lay down on the bed.
1 Samuel 3: 9

10 And the LORD came and stood beside him, and said unto him, Samuel, Samuel, as he had said unto him.

11 The Lord said to Samuel, “I am going to do something in Israel very soon. Anyone who hears this will be amazed.
1 Samuel 3:11

12 The day I judge Eli’s family, I will punish his family completely. I will do everything I say against his family – from beginning to end.
1 Samuel 3:12

13 I will do this because Eli knew that his sons were blaspheming God and doing bad things. And Eli could not control them.
1 Samuel 3:13

14 So I swear that the sacrifices and the grain offerings will never remove the sins of Eli’s family. “

15 Samuel lay in bed until morning. He got up early in the morning and opened all the doors of God’s house. Samuel was afraid to tell Eli about the vision.
1 Samuel 3:15

16 But Eli said to Samuel, “Samuel, my son!” Samuel answered, “Yes, Lord.”
1 Samuel 3:16

17 Eli said, “What has the Lord said to you? Do not hide anything from me. If you hide from me what God has said to you, God will punish you severely.”
1 Samuel 3:17

18 So Samuel told Eli everything. Samuel did not hide anything from Eli. Eli said, “He is the Lord. He has the right to do whatever he wants.”
1 Samuel 3:18

19 The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up. Jehovah did not allow any of Samuel’s words to be false.
1 Samuel 3:19

20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was prophet of the LORD.

21 And the LORD appeared frequently to Samuel in Shiloh. For the Lord revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by his word.

Trust in God

1 I trust in the Lord. Then why do you say that I should run away and hide? You told me, “Fly like a bird to your mountain.”
Psalm 11: 1

2 Evil men are like hunters who hide under a blanket of darkness and return to attack. Bowing down to their bows, they aim their arrows directly at the hearts of good people and honest people.

3 What if they destroy everything that is good? Then what will good people do?

4 The Lord is present in his holy palace. He is seated on his throne in heaven and he sees everything that happens. He judges people to see if they are good or bad.

5 God seeks the good, but rejects the wicked and the wicked.

6 He will rain burning coals and burning sulfur on evil spirits. So these evil souls will get nothing but scorching waves.

7 God is good. And he loves those who do good. These lawful souls will always be with God and see the face of God.
