Good servant and good example of Jesus Christ

6 Tell these things to your brothers and sisters there. It will prove that you are a true servant of Christ Jesus. You will prove that you have been strengthened by the words of faith and by the true teachings you have followed.
1 Timothy 4: 6

7 People tell foolish stories that have nothing to do with God’s truth. Don’t follow those stories. But prepare yourself to be a true servant of God.

8 Exercise helps you in some ways. But God’s service helps you in every way. Serving God also promises blessings for your present life and future life.

9 What I am saying is true and you must accept it completely.

10 That is why we work and struggle; We hope in the living God. He is the Savior of all people. Especially those who believe in him.

11 Command and teach these things.

12 You are young but don’t let anyone treat you as if you were not important. Be an example to them in your speech, in your way of life, in your love, in your faith and in your holy life.

13 Keep teaching the Scriptures to the people, strengthen them, and teach them. Do these things until I come.

14 Remember to use the gift you have. This gift was given to you through a prophetic word, when the elders laid their hands on you.

15 Keep doing these things. Dedicate your life to doing these things. Then everyone will be able to see that your spiritual life is progressing.

16 Focus on your life and teachings. Continue to teach and live the right way. Then you can save yourself and those who listen to your teachings.

Salvation through the Lord Jesus

1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which were taught us. We must be careful that we do not stray from the path of truth.
Hebrews 2: 1

2 The teachings (the law) which were given through the angels of God were proved true. And whenever people went against that teaching and disobeyed that teaching, they received appropriate punishment.

3 The salvation we have received is great. So if we live our lives thinking that this salvation is of no importance, then we are bound to be punished. It was the Lord who first told the people about this salvation. And those who heard him gave us proof that this salvation is real.

4 God also gave proof of this by means of miracles, great signs, and many wonders. And he gave proof of this to the people through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He gave these gifts according to his will.

The effects of righteousness

1 If we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5: 1

2 Christ has been brought into us by faith through this grace. In which we stand firmly. We also rejoice in our hope, for we also share in the glory of God.
Romans 5: 2

3 Not only this, we also find joy in our sufferings. Why are we happy even in sorrow? Because we know that these troubles make us more comfortable.

4 This patience gives us strong moral strength. And this character gives us hope.
Romans 5: 4

5 And this hope never disappoints us. Because God has poured out his love into our hearts. He has given us His love through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to us.

6 Christ died for us at the right time while we were still weak and living against God.
Romans 5: 6

7 No one would want to die for a good person. If a person is very good then anyone can be willing to die for him.
Romans 5: 7

8 But Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This is how God showed his love for us.
Romans 5: 8

9 For we are justified by the blood of Christ. Then we must be saved by God’s wrath through Christ.
Romans 5: 9

10 I mean that when we were enemies of God, God made us his friends through the death of his Son. That is why we are God’s friends now. Surely God will save us through the life of his Son.
Romans 5:10

11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus who made us God’s friends.
