1 Now, I am writing about God’s people raising money. Do as I told the church in Galatia to do.
1 Corinthians 16: 1
2 Every first day of the week, each of you should make a certain amount of money according to your salary. Keep this money in a special place. Then you will not have to collect your money when I come.

3 When I come, I will send some people to Jerusalem to receive your offerings. These are the people you will select for this purpose, I will give them letters of introduction.

4 If it pleases me to go also, then these men will go with me.
1 Corinthians 16: 4
5 My plan is to go through Macedonia. So after traveling through Macedonia, I will come to you.
1 Corinthians 16: 5
6 Maybe I will stay with you for a while. Maybe I’ll stay all winter. Then you can help me on my journey wherever I go.
1 Corinthians 16: 6
7 I do not wish to see you this time, for it is only a matter of time. If God wills, I hope to stay with you for a long time.
1 Corinthians 16: 7
8 But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost.
1 Corinthians 16: 8
9 I will stay here for an occasion. I have a big and fruitful work to do there. Many people are against it.

11 Therefore let none of you disobey him. Help him in his journey peacefully so that he can come back to me. I, along with the other brothers, look forward to his return.

12 Now concerning my brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with his brothers. But of course he didn’t want to come now. But whenever he gets a chance to see you, he will come to you.
1 Corinthians 16:12
