33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may light that way. Luke 11:33
34 Your eye is the light of your body, so if your eyes are good, your whole body is full of light. But if there is defect in your eyes, then your body is also full of darkness. Luke 11:34
35 So be careful that the light inside you does not become dark. Luke 11:35
36 If your whole body is full of light and no part of it is in darkness, then your whole body will be full of light, like the light of a lamp shining on all. ” Luke 11:36
26 Then Jesus and his disciples went across the sea to the land of Gershenia, which is before Galilee. Luke 8:26
27 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the city a man possessed with a devil, For a long time he did not wear any clothes or stay at home, but lived in the cemetery. Luke 8:27
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down at his feet, and said with a loud voice, Jesus, Son of the Most High God, what do you want from me? I beg you, please don’t hurt me! ” He said this because Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to leave the man’s body. The demon had sometimes clung to the man. On such occasions, even though he had chains on his hands and feet and was kept in prison, he would break the chains and the demon would force him to go to deserted places. Luke 8:28
29 Because he was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man, because the demon was coming in him again and again. Many times people would keep him in chains with chains and shackles but he would break the bonds. Evil spirits haunted him in the wilderness. Luke 8:29
30 Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” Luke 8:30
31 The demons begged Jesus not to send them into the deepest darkness. Luke 8:31
32 And there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. So Jesus gave them permission. Luke 8:32
33 The demons came out of the man and went into the pigs. Then the whole herd of pigs ran down the side of the hill and fell into the lake. All the pigs drowned. Luke 8:33
34 When the herdsmen saw all this, they fled and told it to all the people in the fields and in the cities. Luke 8:34
35 And they went out to see him: and they came to Jesus, and found the man sitting at his feet. Now the man was dressed and had a good mind because the demons had left him. Luke 8:35
36 When the people saw this, they were terrified. And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was healed. Luke 8:36
37 And all the multitude of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them: for they were all afraid. Luke 8:37
38 The man who had been healed begged Jesus to go with him. Luke 8:38
39 But Jesus sent the man away, saying, “Let him return to his house and tell the people what God has done for you.” So the man went around the city and told what Jesus had done for him. . Luke 8:39
1 I will continue to boast, even though it is of no use. But now I will talk about visions and lights from the Lord. 2 Corinthians 12: 1
2 I know a man in Christ who was taken up to the third heaven. That was about fourteen years ago. I don’t know if that man went into the body or without the body. But God knows. 2 Corinthians 12: 2
3 And I know that this man was taken up into heaven. I don’t know if he was in his body or far from it. But he heard some things he could not explain. She heard things no man was allowed to say. 2 Corinthians 12: 3
4 He was suddenly taken up into heaven, and he heard things which were not to be spoken, and which are not good for a man to speak. 2 Corinthians 12: 4
5 I will boast about such a person. But I will not brag about myself. I will only brag about my weaknesses. 2 Corinthians 12: 5
6 Though I would boast of myself, yet I would not be foolish, for I would be telling the truth. But I should not brag about myself. Why? Because I don’t want them to think too much of what they see or hear me say. 2 Corinthians 12: 6
7 But I must not boast so much of the strange things that were shown to me, so I was given a painful problem. The problem was; An angel was sent to me by Satan to beat me so that I would not be proud. 2 Corinthians 12: 7
8 I begged the Lord three times to take care of me. 2 Corinthians 12: 8
9 But the Lord said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you. When you are weak, let all my strength be shown to you. ” That is why I am happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then the power of Christ can dwell in me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9
10 So when I am weak I am happy. I am happy when people speak ill of me. When I go through hardships, I feel happy. When people punish me, I feel happy. And I am happy when I face problems. All these things are for Christ. And I am happy with these things because when I am weak then I am really strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10
