1 I want you to be patient with me even when I am a little foolish but you are already patient with me. 2 Corinthians 11: 1
2 I am jealous of you. And this jealousy comes from God. I promise to give you Christ so that only he can be your husband. I want to present you to Christ to be his holy virgin. 2 Corinthians 11: 2
3 But I fear, lest by any means, your hearts turn away from righteousness and Christ. Just as the wind was deceived by the serpent’s evil plan. 2 Corinthians 11: 3
4 You are very humble with everyone who comes to you. One who preaches about Jesus is different from our preaching. You are ready to accept a spirit or gospel that is different from the spirit and gospel that you have received from us. Then you must be patient with me. 2 Corinthians 11: 4
5 I do not think that those “great apostles” are in any way better than me. 2 Corinthians 11: 5
6 It is true that I am not a good speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every way. 2 Corinthians 11: 6
7 I have given you the good news of God without pay. I humbled myself so that I could make you important. Do you think I was wrong? 2 Corinthians 11: 7
8 I received a salary from other churches. I took money from them to serve you. 2 Corinthians 11: 8
9 When I was with you, I needed something. But I didn’t hurt any of you. The brothers from Macedonia gave me everything I needed. I was not a burden to you. And I will never be a burden to you in the future. 2 Corinthians 11: 9
10 No one from Achaia can stop me from boasting about this. I say this with the truth of Christ in me. 2 Corinthians 11:10
11 And why am I not a burden to you? What do you think it’s because I don’t love you? No God knows I love you. 2 Corinthians 11:11
12 And I will continue to do what I am doing now, so that those people will have no reason to brag. They like to show that the work they are bragging about is like our work. 2 Corinthians 11:12
13 These people are not true apostles. They do things that lie. They disguise themselves as Christ’s apostles. 2 Corinthians 11:13
14 This surprises us. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14
15 So we are not surprised when Satan’s servants disguise themselves as servants of the truth. But in the end, those people will have to pay for what they did. 2 Corinthians 11:15
1 The law gives us a vague picture of the good things to come. The law is not a complete picture of the real thing. The law tells people to offer the same sacrifices every year. Those who come to worship God are the ones who offer sacrifices. But the law can never make those people perfect. Hebrews 10: 1
2 If the law could have made people perfect, those sacrifices would have stopped by now. Those people would have been cleansed of their sins by now. And they would no longer feel guilty for their sins. But the law cannot do that. Hebrews 10: 2
3 Every year the sacrifices of those people remind them of their sins, Hebrews 10: 3
4 For the blood of goats and bulls could not remove sins. Hebrews 10: 4
5 So when Christ came into the world, he said, “God, you don’t need sacrifices and offerings, but you have prepared a body for me. Hebrews 10: 5
6 Thou shalt not be pleased with the sacrifices of the dead, nor with the burnt offerings; neither shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of sin. Hebrews 10: 6
7 And I said, Here am I, my God: for this is written in the book of the law, and I am come to do thy will. Hebrews 10: 7
8 In this part of the Scriptures, Christ first said, “You do not need sacrifices and offerings. You are not happy with burnt offerings and sin offerings. ” These are the sacrifices that are offered according to the law. Hebrews 10: 8
9 Then Christ said, “God, I am here. I have come to do your will. ” So God abolished that first system of sacrifices and began his new way. Hebrews 10: 9
10 Jesus Christ did the things that God wanted him to do. Because of this we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Christ. Christ once offered a sacrifice that is enough forever. Hebrews 10:10
11 Every day, the priests stand up and perform their religious service, offering the same sacrifices over and over again. But those sacrifices can never remove sins. Hebrews 10:11
12 But Christ offered one sacrifice for sins, and that is enough for all time. Then Christ sat down at the right hand of God. Hebrews 10:12
13 And now Christ is waiting for his enemies to be brought under his power. Hebrews 10:13
14 Christ perfected his people forever through one sacrifice. They are the people who are being made holy. Hebrews 10:14
15 The Holy Spirit also told us about this. First he says: Hebrews 10:15
16 This is the covenant that I will make with my people in the future, saith the Lord. I will put my covenant in their hearts. I will write them down in their hearts. ” Hebrews 10:16
17 Then he says, “I will forgive their sins and the evil things they do. I will never remember those things again.” Hebrews 10:17
18 And when all these sins are forgiven, there is no more sacrifice for sins. Hebrews 10:18
2 My teaching will rain like rain, My words will be like dew, Like spraying on cool grass, Sprinkles on the leaf.
3 For I will declare the name of the LORD; Acknowledge the greatness of our God.
4 He is the Rock, his works are proven. For all his ways are justice. He is the God of truth. There is no evil in him He is righteous and true.
5 They are perverted, They are not his sons but scoundrels, This generation is crooked and wicked.
6 You foolish and foolish people! Is this how you repay Jehovah? Isn’t he your father who bought you, He created you and established you?
7 Remember the old days, Consider the days of generations, Ask your father, and he will tell you. From their elders, they will tell you.
8 When the Most High divided the inheritance among the nations, When he separated the sons of Adam, Then he set the boundaries of the nations, According to the number of the children of Israel,
9 For the LORD’s portion is his people, Jacob is part of his inheritance.
10 He brought him out of the wilderness, And found in a deserted forest. He surrounded them and told them the news. He protected her like the apple of an eye.
11 As the eagle shakes its nest, And seizes upon his children, In the same way he spread his wings and took them, He carried them on his wings,
12 Jehovah alone led him, And there was no foreign god with him.
13 He rode him on the heights of the earth, So he ate the produce of the field, And he gave him honey out of the stone, And sucked oil from the flint.
14 Butter and milk of the flock, With lamb fat, And the rams and goats of Bashan; With excellent wheat yield, You drank wine of grape juice.
15 Yeshurun became fat and began to beat, You got fat too You are strong You are full of fat. Then he forsook his Creator God, And lightened the rock of his salvation.
16 They became jealous of other gods, Disgusting things made him angry.
17 They offered sacrifices to unclean spirits, To the gods they did not know, The new gods that just came out, Which your fathers did not fear.
18 You forgot the rock that made you, You forgot the God who gave you birth.
19 The Lord saw and hated them, Because his sons and daughters provoked him.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them. I’ll see what happens to them, Because this is a stubborn generation, These are the sons who are not faithful.
21 They have made me jealous of that which is not God. They made me angry with their nonsense, I will make them jealous of a nation that is not mine, I will make them angry through a foolish nation,
22 For the fire of my wrath is kindled, Which burns to the lowest hell, And consumes the earth with its produce, Instead, it sets fire to the foundations of the mountains.
23 I will bring evil upon them, I will shoot my arrows at them.
24 They will be filled with hunger, They will be consumed by intense heat and terrible diseases, And I will cause the teeth of the wild beast to come upon them, And I will release the venom of the snakes that crawl on the ground.
25 will die outside with the sword, And there will be fear in the rooms, With which young men and virgins, And the suckling child and the white man will perish.
26 I said, I will scatter them far and wide. I will erase them from the memory of men,
27 But I was afraid of the enemy, Somewhere their enemies understand the opposite, And they say, Our hand is raised, And the Lord did not do all this.
28 This is a foolish nation, There is no understanding in them.
29 Would it have been better for them to be wise and understand this, And consider their end,
30 If only their rock had not sold them, And wouldn’t Jehovah have caught them? So how could one be behind a thousand, And two can chase ten thousand,
31 For their rock is not like our rock, Even if only our enemies judge.
32 Their vine came out of the vine of Sodom, And from the fields of Amurah. His grapes are poisonous grapes, His bunches are bitter.
33 Their honey is the poison of serpents, And the sharp venom of the serpents.
34 Is this in my heart? And not sealed and kept in my store?
35 Revenge and vengeance are mine; It will appear when their foot slips, For the day of their calamity is at hand, And their destruction is coming soon.
36 The Lord will judge his people, And will have pity on his servants, When he sees that their strength is gone, And no one was taken prisoner, no one was released.
37 Then shall he say, Where are their gods? And the rock in which they took refuge?
38 Those who ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offerings? They get up and help you, Let them be your shelter!
39 Now see that I am he, And there is no god but me. I kill and I live, I heal and I heal, And there is none that can deliver out of my hand,
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and I say, I live forever.
41 If I sharpen my shining sword, And I will take justice into my own hands, Then I will take revenge on my enemies, And I will repay those who hate me.
42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood, And my sword shall devour flesh: the blood of the slain and of the captives, And he will be the head of the leaders of the flesh.
43 Sing to his people, O nations! For he will avenge the blood of his servants, And will avenge his enemies, And will pay for the sins of his land and his people.
44 And Joshua the son of Nun spake all the words of the song unto the people.
Moses’ last instructions
45 When Moses told these things to all Israel
46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts on all these things, which I testify of you this day. Command your sons to observe all the words of this law,
47 For this is not a small thing to you, but it is your life, and because of this you will have many days in the land which you are crossing over the Jordan to possess. ”
48 And it came to pass the same day, that the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
49 And thou shalt go up to the hill of Abarim, to the top of Nebo, which is before Jericho in the land of Moab, and see the land of Canaan, which I will give to Israel for an inheritance.
50 Then you will die on the same mountain where you are climbing, and you will be reunited with your people, just as your brother Aaron died and was reunited with his people on another mountain.
51 For you have transgressed against me in the wilderness of Sin, on the fountain of Meribah near Kadesh, and have not sanctified me among the children of Israel.
52 So you will see the land that I am going to give to the Israelites in front of you, but you will not enter that land. ”
