Stephen’s Stone

54 When the Jewish leaders heard Stephen say this, they became very angry. They became so angry that they gritted their teeth at Stephen.
Acts 7:54

55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory and glory of God. He saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

60 He knelt down and cried out, “Lord, why are you here? Don’t let this sin come upon them. ” After saying this, he died.

God’s anointed King

1 Why are the people of the nations so angry? Why are they making plans that are in vain?
Psalm 2: 1

2 Their kings and their leaders have joined forces to fight against the Lord and against the King he has chosen.
Psalm 2: 2

3 They said, “Let us rebel against Yahweh, and against the king whom he has chosen. Come, let us break free from these bonds which have bound us, and let us be free from them.”
Psalm 2: 3

4 But my lord the king of heaven laughs at them.
Psalm 2: 4

5 God is angry and says to those people, “I was the one who chose that man to be king. And he will rule over Mount Zion. Zion is my holy mountain.” And with that, those leaders are getting scared.

6 But I have seated my king in my city of Jerusalem, the holy mountain of Zion.

7 Now I will tell you about God’s agreement. God told me. “From today I am your father. And you are my son.
Psalm 2: 7

8 Whatever you ask of me, I will give it to you of all nations. The people of the whole earth will be yours.
Psalm 2: 8

9 He will be able to destroy those nations, as an iron rod is able to shatter the clay pots. “
Psalm 2: 9

10 Therefore, my lords, be wise. All of you leaders, learn this lesson.

11 Worship Jehovah with reverence.
Psalm 2:11

12 Show that you are all faithful to the Son of God. If you don’t, he will get angry and kill you. Blessed are those who believe in God. But others need to be careful. Jehovah is ready to show his anger.

The effects of righteousness

1 If we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5: 1

2 Christ has been brought into us by faith through this grace. In which we stand firmly. We also rejoice in our hope, for we also share in the glory of God.
Romans 5: 2

3 Not only this, we also experience happiness in our sufferings. Why are we happy even in sorrow? Because we know that these troubles make us more comfortable.

4 This patience gives us strong moral strength. And this character gives us hope.
Romans 5: 4

5 And this hope never disappoints us. Because God has poured out his love into our hearts. He has given us His love through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to us.

6 Christ died for us at the right time while we were still weak and living against God.
Romans 5: 6

7 No one would want to die for a good person. If a person is very good then anyone can be willing to die for him.
Romans 5: 7

8 But Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This is how God has shown his love for us.
Romans 5: 8

9 For we are justified by the blood of Christ. Then we must be saved through God’s wrath through Christ.
Romans 5: 9

10 I mean that when we were enemies of God, God made us his friends through the death of his Son. That is why we are God’s friends now. Surely God will save us through the life of his Son.
Romans 5:10

11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus who made us God’s friends.
