Greeks want to meet Jesus

20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
John 12:20

21 These Greeks came to Philip from Galilee and Bethsaida. They begged him, “Sir! We want to see Jesus. ”
John 12:21

22 Philip came and told Andrew, and Andrew and Philip came and told Jesus.
John 12:22

23 Jesus answered, “The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
John 12:23

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
John 12:24

25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; But whoever does not love his life in this world will be saved for everlasting life.
John 12:25

26 Whoever serves me must follow me, and then my servant will be with me wherever I am. He who serves me, the Father honors him.
John 12:26

Paul’s Prayer

15 That is why I always remember you in my prayers and thank God for you. I have always done this since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people.

20 This is the same great power that God used to raise Christ from the dead. God seated Christ at his right hand in the heavenly places.

21 God made Christ more important than all other rulers, authorities, powers, and kings. Christ is more powerful than anything that has power in this world or in the world to come.

22 God has put all things in subjection under Christ. And God has made him head over all things in the church.

23 The church is the body of Christ. The church is full of Christ. He makes everything perfect in every way.

Jesus on the Cross

26 The soldiers took him away to kill him. At that moment, they caught another man who was coming into the city from the field. His name was Simon from the city of Cyrene. The soldiers ordered him to carry Jesus’ cross on his shoulders and follow him.

27 A large crowd followed Jesus. Among them were some women who were crying and beating.

28 But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughter of Jerusalem! Don’t cry for me Instead, cry for yourself and your children.

29 The time is coming when people will say, ‘Happy are those who are barren and have no children. Blessed are those who do not have suckling babies.

30 ‘Then people will say to the mountains,’ Fall on us. ‘They will say to the hills,’ Cover us. ‘

31 For if people have done this in good times, what do you expect from them in bad times? ”
