What Defiles a Person?, The faith of the Canaanite Woman, Healing many Patients, Satisfy four Thousand.

What Defiles a Person?

10 He called the people together and said to them, “Listen and understand! Matthew 15:10

11 What goes into a man’s mouth does not defile him, but whatever comes out of his mouth defiles him. ” Matthew 15:11

12 When the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were angry when they heard what you said?” Matthew 15:12

13 Jesus said, “Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted. Matthew 15:13

14 Stay away from the Pharisees.  Leave them alone.  They are blind leaders of blind people.  And if one blind man leads the other blind, both will fall into the pit. ” Matthew 15:14

15 Peter asked, “Tell us the meaning of what you said to the people.” Matthew 15:15

16 He said, “Is it still difficult for you to understand like other people?” Matthew 15:16

17 Don’t you know that whatever enters the mouth goes into the belly, and then comes out and goes into the toilet? Matthew 15:17

18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and such things defile the man. Matthew 15:18

19 For all evil things, such as wickedness, murder, fornication, sexual immorality, stealing, lying, and blasphemy, come from the heart. Matthew 15:19

20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. Matthew 15:20

The Faith of the Canaanite Woman

21 Jesus left there and went to the region of Tire and Sidon. Matthew 15:21

22 And a certain Canaanite woman came out of the country, and cried, and said, Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on me.  Have mercy on me. My daughter is in a bad condition. ” Matthew 15:22

23 But Jesus did not answer her a word.  His disciples came to him and begged him, “Tell the old woman to go away.  She is following us and shouting. ” Matthew 15:23

24 Then Jesus said, “I have been sent only for the lost sheep of Israel.” Matthew 15:24

25 But she came to him, and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me. Matthew 15:25

26 Jesus answered, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” Matthew 15:26

27 He said, “Yes, Lord, but even dogs eat the loaves that fall from their master’s table.” Matthew 15:27

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.  Be as you wish. ”  So his daughter was healed at once. Matthew 15:28

Healing Many Patients

29 And Jesus departed thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. Matthew 15:29

30 Many people came to him.  They brought with them lame, blind, crippled, dumb, and many others.  And he laid them at Jesus’ feet, and he healed them all. Matthew 15:30

31 And when they saw the dumb talking, and the lame walking, and the lame walking, and the blind, they marveled, and glorified the God of Israel. Matthew 15:31

Satisfy Four Thousand

32 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, I have compassion on the multitude, because they have been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away hungry.  Don’t let them faint on the way. ” Matthew 15:32

33 The disciples answered Jesus, “How can we get enough food for all these people in this wilderness?” Matthew 15:33

34 And he said unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few small fishes. Matthew 15:34

35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. Matthew 15:35

36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. Matthew 15:36

37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained seven baskets full. Matthew 15:37

38 There were at least 4,000 men there, apart from women and children. Matthew 15:38

39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala. Matthew 15:38

1 Solomon’s Best Song
2 Thou kissest me with the kiss of thy mouth,     For thy love is better than honey.

3 Your perfume has a good fragrance,
Your name is like the oil that is chopped,
That is why virgins love you.

4 Love me, we will run after you.
The king brought me into his palace
We will rejoice and be glad in you,
We will remember your love more than honey,
They truly love you.

5 Daughters of Jerusalem,
   I’m black but beautiful
Like the tents of Kedar,    Like the curtains of Solomon.

6 Do not stare at me, for I am black.
The heat of the sun scorched me.
My mother’s sons were angry with me,
They put me in charge of the vineyards,
But I did not protect my own vineyard.

7 Tell me, my dear,
Where do you feed the flock and where do you sit at noon?
Why should I be with the flocks of your companions like a herd?

Groom

8 O beautiful women,
If you do not know, follow in the footsteps of the flock
And feed your lambs at the shepherds’ quarters.

9 O my beloved,
I have compared you to a horse in Pharaoh’s chariots

10 Your cheeks are adorned with earrings,
Your neck with a necklace of pearls.

11 We will make gold necklaces for you with silver flowers.

12 While the king was at his table,The scent of my perfume kept spreading.

13 My child is a mustard seed for me.
Who spends the night between my breasts.

14 My child is a bunch of henna flowers for me,
Which is in the gardens of En-gadi.

Groom

15 Behold, thou art fair, my love;
   Behold, thou art fair;
Your eyes are like the eyes of a dove.

Jehovah God is my destiny
David’s friend.

1 Protect me, O God, for I have taken refuge in you.

2 I have said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord, and without thee I have no good.

3 My joy is fulfilled in the saints who are on earth.

4 The sorrows of those who run after other gods will increase, I will not pour out their blood offerings, and I will not put the name of those gods on my lips.

5 The Lord is my inheritance and part of my cup.  You are the protector of my share.

6 I have been measured in pleasing places, I have received pleasing portion.

7 Blessed be the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my heart teacheth me in the night.

8 I have set the LORD always before me: for he that is at my right hand shall not be moved.

9 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my spirit rejoiced: my flesh shall rest in peace,

10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see the grave.

11 Thou wilt shew me the way of life: thy joy is full of joy; thy right hand hath everlasting joy.

Jesus is The True Vine

Jesus is the true vine

1 Jesus said, “I am the true vine, my Father is the gardener. John 15: 1

2 Every branch that beareth not fruit he taketh away.  He prunes every branch that bears fruit and cleans it so that it may bear more fruit. John 15: 2

3 You are already clean through the word I have given you. John 15: 3

4 Abide in me, and I in you.  No branch can bear fruit on its own.  In the same way, if you do not stay in me, you will not be able to bear fruit. John 15: 4

5 I am the vine, and you are its branches.  If any man abide in me, I will abide in him, and he shall bear many fruits: but without me ye can do nothing. John 15: 5

6 If any man abide not in me, the same is cast off, and withereth.  People throw such branches into the fire. John 15: 6

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be given you. John 15: 7

8 You must produce more fruit and prove that you are my disciples.  This will bring glory to my Father. John 15: 8

9 “I have loved you as my Father has loved me. So be steadfast in my love.  John 15: 9

10 I have kept my Father’s commandments, and have abided in his love.  In the same way, if you also keep my commandments, you will remain in my love. John 15:10

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12

13 To die for a friend is the greatest love a person can show. John 15:13

14 You are my friends if you do the things I command you. John 15:14

15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing.  But now I will call you my friend.  For I have told you all things that I heard from my Father. John 15:15

16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you.  I sent you to go and produce fruit. I want your fruit to be in your life forever.  That the Father may give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16

17 Love one another. This is my command to you. John 15:17
