1 I will continue to boast, even if it is to no avail. But now I will talk about visions and revelations from the Lord.
2 Corinthians 12: 1

2 I know a man in Christ who was taken up to the third heaven. That was some 14 years ago. I don’t know if that man went into the body or out of the body. But God knows.
2 Corinthians 12: 2

3 And I know that this man was taken up into heaven. I don’t know if he was in his body or away from it. But he heard some things that he could not explain. She heard things no man was allowed to tell.

4 And suddenly he was taken up into heaven, and heard a word which was not spoken, and which is not good for a man.

5 I will boast about such a person. But I will not brag about myself. I will only brag about my weaknesses.

6 Though I would boast of myself, yet would I not be foolish, for I am telling the truth. But I should not brag about myself. Why? Because I don’t want them to think too much of me about what they see or hear me say.

7 But I must not boast much about the strange things that were shown to me, so I was given a painful problem. The problem was; An angel was sent to me by Satan to beat me so that I would not be proud.

8 I begged the Lord three times to take care of me.

9 But the Lord said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you. When you are weak, let my strength be shown to you. ” That is why I am happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then the power of Christ can dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12: 9

10 So when I am weak, I am happy. I rejoice when people speak ill of me. When I go through hardships, I feel happy. When people punish me, I feel happy. And I am happy when I face problems. All these things are for Christ. And I am happy with these things because when I am weak then I am really strong.

The Son is higher than the angels

5 God did not say to any of his angels, “You are my Son, and today I am your father.” God never said to any angel, “I will be his father, and he will be my son.”

6 And when he shall bring forth his firstborn son into the world, he saith, All the angels of God shall worship the Son.

7 Concerning the angels, God said, “God makes his angels like the wind, and his servants like flames of fire.”

8 But God said of his Son: “Your throne, O God, will be secure forever, and you will rule your kingdom with righteous judgment.

9 Thou hast loved that which is right, and hated that which is wrong. Therefore, God, thy God, hath made thee happier than thy companions.

10 This is what God says: “In the beginning you made the earth, and your hands made the sky.

11 These things shall pass away, but thou shalt remain: all things shall be as old as clothing.

12 Thou shalt fold them as a coat, and they shall be changed as a garment: but thou shalt not be changed, and thy life shall never end.

13 And God hath not said unto any of his angels, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

14 All the angels who serve God are spirits, sent to help those who are saved.

Jesus being tempted

Jesus being tempted

1 Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, turned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
Luke 4: 1

2 Satan tempted Jesus there for forty days, and he ate nothing that day. When that time was over, he was very hungry.
Luke 4: 2

3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
Luke 4: 3

4 Jesus answered, “It is written, ‘It is not bread that keeps a man alive.'”

5 And the devil taketh him up into a high mountain, and in an instant hath revealed all the kingdoms of the world.

6 Satan said to Jesus, “I give you the authority and glory of all these kingdoms. Because all this has been given to me. And I can give this power to any person I want.
Luke 4: 6

7 And if thou wilt fall at my feet, and serve me, I will give thee all these kingdoms.

8 Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

9 And the devil took him up to Jerusalem, and set him in the highest place of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, go down from thence.

10 It is written in the Scriptures, ‘God will command his angels to guard you carefully.’

11 And it is written, They will hold thee in their hands, lest at any time thy foot be hurt with a stone.

12 Jesus answered, “But it is written, ‘You have not returned to the Lord your God.'”

13 And when the devil had tempted him, he departed from him, waiting for another good time.
