The God of Peace be with all you. Romans 15:33

Separation from God in the last days

1 Remember this. The last days will be very difficult.
2 Timothy 3: 1

2 In those days people will love only themselves and money. They will be proud and arrogant. They will slander each other. People will not obey their parents. People will not be thankful. They will not be what God wants them to be.
2 Timothy 3: 2

3 People will not love one another. They will refuse to forgive others and speak ill of them. People will not control themselves. They will be cruel and they will hate goodness.
2 Timothy 3: 3

4 In the last days, people will be against their friends. They will do wrong without thinking. They will be arrogant and conceited. People will love pleasure and they will not love God.
2 Timothy 3: 4

5 They will pretend to be serving God. But the way they live shows that they are not serving God. But the way they live shows that they are not serving God. Timothy, stay away from such people.
2 Timothy 3: 5

6 Timothy enters the house and takes control of the weak women. These women are full of sin and are slaves to the things they want to do.
2 Timothy 3: 6

7 Those women are always trying to learn new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth properly.
2 Timothy 3: 7

8 Remember Janes and Jebres. They were against Moses. The same is true of these people. They are against the truth. They are deluded minds. They have failed to follow the path of faith.
2 Timothy 3: 8

9 But they will never succeed in what they are doing. Everyone will know that they are fools. The same thing happened with Janus and Zambes.
2 Timothy 3: 9

Spiritual gifts

1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want you to know about spiritual gifts.
1 Corinthians 12: 1

2 You know the life before you became a believer. You yourself were blindly drawn to the worship of lifeless idols.
1 Corinthians 12: 2

3 Therefore I tell you, everyone who speaks with the Spirit of God It does not say, “Cursed be Jesus Christ.” And no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ without the help of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12: 3

4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they are all from the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12: 4

5 There are many ways to serve; But all these ways are from the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12: 5

6 And there are also many ways in which God works with people. But all these ways are from the same Lord. God does everything in us.
1 Corinthians 12: 6

7 The work of the Spirit can be seen in every human being. The Spirit gives us this gift to help other people.
1 Corinthians 12: 7

8 The Spirit gives this gift to a person to speak the language of wisdom. And the same Spirit gives the gift of speaking with wisdom.
1 Corinthians 12: 8

9 The same Spirit gives faith to a person. And the same Spirit gives a person the gift of healing.
1 Corinthians 12: 9

10 Gives another person the gift of performing miracles, giving another person the ability to prophesy, and another person the ability to distinguish between good and evil spirits. The Spirit gives one person the power to speak different languages, and another person the power to interpret those languages.
1 Corinthians 12:10

11 The same Spirit does all these things. The soul decides what to give to each person.
1 Corinthians 12:11

The Comfort that God Promised

1 We still have the promise God made to those people that we could enter into God’s rest. So we must be very careful, so that none of you will be deprived of that promise.
Hebrews 4: 1

2 The way of salvation was told to us as it was told to those people. But the teaching they heard did not help them. People listened to those teachings but did not receive them by faith.
Hebrews 4: 2

3 We, the believers, are able to enter and rest. Just as God said, “I swear in my wrath: ‘They will never enter into my rest.’” Said.
Hebrews 4: 3

4 In one of the scriptures, God spoke about the seventh day of the week; God finished all his work, and on the seventh day he rested.
Hebrews 4: 4

5 And another scripture saith, They shall not enter into my rest.
Hebrews 4: 5

6 It is true that some people will enter into God’s rest. But the people who first heard about the way of salvation did not enter. They did not enter because they were not obedient.
Hebrews 4: 6

7 So God planned another special day. This is called “Today.” God spoke of this day long after, through David. In the same passage we have already used: “If you listen to God’s voice today, do not be stubborn like in the past.”
Hebrews 4: 7

8 We know that Joshua did not lead the people into rest as God promised. We know this because later God spoke of another day of rest, “the present day.”
Hebrews 4: 8

9 This indicates that the seventh day of the Sabbath is yet to come for God’s people.
Hebrews 4: 9

10 God rested after he finished his work. So the one who enters and finds divine rest is the one who has finished his work like God.
Hebrews 4:10

11 So let us work hard to enter into that rest. We should try in such a way that none of us loses rest by following their example like those who were not obedient.
Hebrews 4:11

12 The Word of God is alive and working. His word is sharper than a sharp sword. The Word of God penetrates deep into us, even where the soul and the spirit meet. God’s Word strikes at our joints and bones. It determines the thoughts and intentions of our heart.
Hebrews 4:12

13 Nothing in the world can be hidden from God. He can see everything clearly. Everything is open before him. And to Him we must give an account of our way of life.
Hebrews 4:13
