16 And a certain man came to him, and said, Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 Jesus answered, “Why do you ask me about righteousness? Only God is good. But if you want to enter life, follow the commandments. ”

20 The young man said, “I have believed all these things, but what is wrong with me now?”

21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell everything you have and distribute the money among the poor. In this way you will find treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me. ”

22 But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he was very rich.

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 For I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 And when the disciples heard it, they marveled, saying, Who then can be saved?

26 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible. But all things are possible to God. ”

27 Peter said to Jesus, “We have given up everything to follow you. What will we get then?

28 And he said unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, When the new world shall be established, and the Son of man shall sit upon his glorious throne, then shall ye sit on twelve thrones, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 19:28

29 And every one that hath forsaken his house, or his brethren, or his brethren, or his parents, or his father, or his children, or his land, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit the life of the world.
Matthew 19:29

30 But many of the people who have a higher status in life now will have a very low place in the future. Many people who have the lowest rank now will get the highest rank in the future.
