
14 My brothers and sisters, if a person says he has faith but does not practice it, his faith is in vain. Can such faith save him? No
James 2:14
15 Some brothers and sisters in Christ may need clothes and bread for that day.

16 But say to him, God be with you. Warm yourself and eat well. ” You only say these things, but you do not give the person what he needs. What good is a web site if it simply “blends in” with everything else out there?

17 So it is with faith. If faith does not heal, then faith is lifeless because it is alone.

18 Someone may say, “You believe, but I do. Show me your faith. Your faith does nothing. I will show you my faith by my deeds. ”

19 You believe that God is one. Ok But even demons believe this and tremble with fear.

20 Foolish people. Do you have to show that faith that does nothing is worthless?

21 Abraham was our father. Abraham was made righteous by his deeds. He offered his son Isaac to God on the altar.
James 2:21
22 Understand therefore that the faith of Abraham, and the works of Abraham, did work together. His faith was perfected by his actions.
James 2:22
23 The full meaning of the Scriptures is clear from everything it says; “Abraham believed God. And this faith justified Abraham. ” Abraham was called “God’s friend.”
James 2:23
24 Therefore you see that a person is justified by his works, but not by faith alone.
James 2:24
25 Another example is Rahab. Rahab was a prostitute, but she was justified by her actions. He helped spies for God’s people. He welcomed them as his guests and helped them escape in a different way.
James 2:25
26 Without the Spirit the body is a corpse. It is the same with faith. He who does not believe is dead.
