1 I praise the LORD with all my heart; I will tell the people about all the wonderful things you have done.

4 You sat on your throne like a righteous judge. Lord, you heard my prayer. And you pronounced the verdict.

5 You have slandered those other people, Lord, you have destroyed those bad people. You have permanently removed their names from the list of those who are alive.

6 The enemy is gone. Lord, you destroyed their cities. Now only the rubble of those houses is left. There is nothing left to remind us of those bad people.

7 But the Lord rules forever. He made his kingdom strong. He did this so that justice could prevail in the world.

8 Jehovah is the true Judge of all the earth. He is the Judge of all nations.
Psalm 9: 8

9 The Lord will be a safe place for the oppressed. And there will be a place of refuge for those who are suffering.
Psalm 9: 9

10 Those who are aware of your true name must trust in you. Lord, if these people come to you, don’t leave them without help.
Psalm 9:10

11 Sing praises to the LORD, you inhabitants of Mount Zion. Tell the Gentiles about Jehovah’s great things.

12 Jehovah remembers those who turn to him for help. Jehovah does not forget the cry of the meek.

13 I prayed to God; “Lord, have mercy on me. Look, my enemies are making me sad. Save me from the gates of death.

14 Then I will praise you, Yahweh, at the gates of Jerusalem. I will be happy because you saved me. “

15 The nations are digging trenches for other people, but they have fallen into their own trenches and are trapped in their own traps.

16 The Lord has caught those bad people. That is why people have learned a lesson that the Lord punishes those who do bad things.

17 The people who have forgotten God are evil. Such people will die.
Psalm 9:17

18 At times, it seems that God has forgotten those suffering people. Sometimes it seems that those humble people have no hope. But God did not forget such people forever.

19 Arise, O LORD, and judge the heathen; let not the people think they are strong.

20 Teach people a lesson. So that they can know that they are just human beings.
