Warning against adultery
1 My son, pay attention to my wisdom. Listen carefully to my words of wisdom. Proverbs 5: 1
2 So that you may maintain discretion and so that you may speak wisely. Proverbs 5: 2
3 A foreign woman is sweeter than honey, and her lips are sweeter than oil. Proverbs 5: 3
4 But in the end, it will only bring bitterness and sorrow. It will be like bitter poison and a sharp sword! Proverbs 5: 4
5 His feet are going to death. His feet are leading to the grave. Proverbs 5: 5
6 Don’t follow him! She has left the right path and doesn’t even know it! Be careful! Follow the path that leads to life. Proverbs 5: 6
7 And now, my sons, listen to me. Don’t forget the words I say. Proverbs 5: 7
8 Stay away from the way she goes, don’t even come near her door. Proverbs 5: 8
9 Otherwise you will give your honor to someone else and your life to an oppressor. Proverbs 5: 9
10 And strangers shall spend thy wealth, and the fruit of thy labors shall be enjoyed by the house of a stranger. Proverbs 5:10
11 As soon as the end of your life comes, you will groan when your body is destroyed. Proverbs 5:11
12 Then you will say, “As I hated to be disciplined: as I hated to be rebuked.” Proverbs 5:12
13 I have not hearkened unto the voice of my lord, neither have I hearkened unto my teachers. Proverbs 5:13
14 Now I am almost completely destroyed, in front of the whole world. ” Proverbs 5:14
15 Drink water from your own well. And don’t let your water flow into the streets. Proverbs 5:15
16 You must have sex only with your wife. Don’t be the father of children outside your home. Proverbs 5:16
17 Your children should be yours alone. You should not share them with people outside your home. Proverbs 5:17
18 Blessed be your wife, and rejoice in the wife you married when you were young. Proverbs 5:18
19 She is like a beautiful deer, like a lovely deer. Let her breasts satisfy you and may her love always make you happy! Proverbs 5:19
20 My son, why are you mistaken for a foreign woman? Why do you hug a foreign woman? Proverbs 5:20
21 The Lord watches every step of a person and weighs all his actions. Proverbs 5:21
22 The works of the wicked entangle him; he is bound with his own sins, as with a rope. Proverbs 5:22
23 A wicked man dieeth because of his iniquity: and his foolishness deceiveth him. Proverbs 5:23
